Good to see we were in it up to our eyeballs, disappointing to miss out on the big fish again.
Plenty of cap space is the positive Aish the next obvious target. Sloane and Danger will be wanting some of that action no doubt.

You wouldn't put it past the AFL to assist in keeping Jezza at GWS. They've invested too much money for him and Boyd to walk out with Patton to be ruined by injury.
Because he's loyal and the rumours of him wanting out of Sydney were untrue? No different than Tex staying here, he could have gotten the same sort of offer if he wanted.

Hey guys, second post but been reading/creeping the forums for a bit now. Got hooked after Sando got sacked and some new coach rumours were flying around.
Seems like redhorse was on the money with the 'big fish'. Campbell's Chunky too; with the comment about how it would be a good idea for Danger and Sloane not to sign now.
Wonder if now that Cameron has re-signed, whether or not Sloaney and Danger will put pen to paper soon?

Yes keep up that sort of activity and something will present itself.
Would've been a PR disaster for the AFL's war on rugby* if both their forwards walked out. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the AFL fiddled something somewhere.
Well done the club for trying. Kind of makes it obvious why we've been holding off on things.

What's all of a sudden happened down at GWS that's caused these players to re-sign? Given the amount of incentives GWS have reportedly been giving players which fall outside the cap (eg. free housing, free cars, free petrol, free food, guaranteed job after they've retired), it'd be interesting to know.

Also pretty sure 2 days ago there was a report on fox sports Cameron was in no hurry. Says how much speculation there is. A lot of bad mail!
If I was a power ranger I'd be cut that they weren't into him in a big way. They're the ones that need a KPF. Not many left on the market.Port must be ecstatic with that news.ok ok no more pessimism that was so 2014.
