Essendon players break ranks to play in NAB Challenge despite being at the club during 2012 supplements saga

Previously the club had said all 26 players on the 2012 list still at the club would sit out NAB Challenge games — 18 facing infraction notices to preserve voluntary provisional suspensions and eight others to protect the anonymity of the charged stars.

It is known David Zaharakis and Jason Winderlich didn’t receive infraction notices, which means 18 of the 20 remaining 2012 players sitting out the St Kilda game are facing drug bans.

I do think that the Essendon players may go on to win a Premiership once this is all done and they are done with their bans. They would be motivated to put all of this in the past, and this would be a great way to do so

You'd be a bit dirty if you were one of the two, wouldn't you? "We need you to sit out so people think you might have taken drugs and not us."

Anyone else read that article by Damien Barrett on afl.com ? He seems to go in pretty hard at the EFC & singles out Little and Hird for some treatment....

That article was brilliant. He really lets the truth fly.

Too many media personalities have been licking Essendon's asses in fear of upsetting their brave, brave souls.

Whoa whoa whoa! It's not a "practice match." If it were, the players would lose credit for their suspensions. It's only a bit of a "match" in which the players are "practicing."

Great article by Barratt The media us starting to turn, expect lots and lots of pain for the cheats.

Winning a AFL premiership takes more than motovation .
Whilst Hird and Sheedy are at Essendon the rest of the competition can rest easy knowing they will continue to implode from within .

I've just floated over to the main board dedicated to the whole saga for the first time in ages.
Incredible.
It's still a lot of the same people two years later going around and around and around.
It amounts to quite a lot of people on both sides of the Fence talking a whole lot of s**t basically.
