Pretty sure he was there today.
There are whispers that it would be at the Junction as a one off. If we host it it will not say a lot for the standard of domestic cricket and mask some bigger issues for another couple of years.
It's been confirmed as Junction. I don't really understand why they'll be allowed to host it tbh.

so we can't play regular Shield games there b/c it's not suitable enough for First Class cricket, but we can (potentially) play the final there?

the Junction oval hosted a world cup warm up game, to it must be up to scratch
any way haven't they already started the redevlopment work on that the Junction oval to VC can move in to it

who cares about playing the game. CA could same them self a heap of money. just hold the coin toss who ever wins that, wins the final. if the coin lands on its side in between some blades of grass, its a draw, so SA will win as its their home final

Why did the Redbacks even bother to turn up today? I'm no fan of the follow on, but I hope Victoria enforces it and puts us out of our misery. Well done Peter Siddle, 8 wickets is a wonderful effort.

I guess the theory would be that the bowlers weren't out there very long this morning and are still fresh. Also, by the time SA made enough to make the Vics bat again, it will be late on Day 4, so there's no threat of Victoria losing.

What does it matter that he wasn't playing for NSW? They had a lot more to do with him throughout his life than the SA boys did. They were there when it happened, too.

Because South Australia have lost a good batsman and a member of their current team, and Tom Cooper lost his housemate that's why! Both NSW and the Australian team can to a certain extent put it behind them, SA are reminded of it each time they take the field.
