Sorry should have been clearer, a mod banning you for joking about trolling, on your own board, is totally floggish.

Damm right.

I was simply expecting him to just delete it and play on. But * me, getting a day off is just flog worthy. Finding less and less reason to post on the club board now.

I never go on my club board, if I wanted to choke on goo I'd barrack for Hawthorn. Sorry skip.

I don't know what your board is like but our is just a massive circle jerk over who is the greatest of all time and then 2 seconds latter they are a white dog.

Oh, BTW - you are getting Danger.

Yeah I'm sure we will, just like I was sure we'd get Frawley. I go on our board during the draft and that's about it. That's the only time I can enjoy the circle jerk that is our board.

LOL - thats one of the worst on ours.

Club can do no wrong during the draft, then 3 months latter without the player even playing a game, somehow they have got it wrong.

We've got a few talented video guys who will post their own highlights cuts, that's my main reason for visiting.

Round 6 Match Review Vs Las Vegas Bears

Round 6 saw the Warriors of Coney Island travel to the bright lights of Las Vegas for a matchup with the struggling Bears. After one of the more enjoyable match threads of S19 both teams were keen to get amongst it on the qooty field.

The Bears burst out of the blocks early, kicking 7 of the first 9 goals of the quarter and getting out to a commanding 30 point lead at the 12 minute mark. From there the Warriors were able to settle and consolidate, the efforts of Les Norton and The Mighty Boosh swinging the momentum in the Warrior's favour, and limiting the damage to a 22 point defecit at the first change.

Quarter Time
Las Vegas Bears 7.0.42
Coney Island Warriors 3.2.20

The Warriors started the second quarter as they had ended the first, Warrior tyro Retired Jimmy slamming on two quick goals to reduce the margin to 8 points at the 3 minute mark. The Bears were able to lift their intensity, and with both teams displaying a high level of qootball ability it seemed that this one was destined to be a classic.

Half Time
Las Vegas Bears 12.2.74
Coney Island Warriors 11.4.70

The early stages of the third quarter resembled the previous two - both sides struggling to make headway in the crucial midfield battle. As the quarter wore on it was the Warriors who were able to gain the ascendency, and when Warrior half forwards Mr_Smooth and Lord_Flashheart got on top of their direct opponents the signs were ominous for the home side Bears - the Warriors taking a 14 point buffer into the final change.

Three Quarter Time
Las Vegas Bears 16.4.100
Coney Island Warriors 18.6.114

While the contest had been a tight one all day it was the Warriors who broke the game open to start the fourth, piling on 6 unanswered goals to kill the contest at the 12 minute mark - alex_is_on_fire and El Dubya doing as they pleased and gathering possessions at will. From there it was all about injury management and Whore Tree rotations for the Warriors, running out comfortable 34 point winners and consolidating their spot in the Top 8.

Final Scores
Las Vegas Bears 21.4.130
Coney Island Warriors 26.8.164

Round 6 saw Warrior hard man Reginald Perrin throw his hat into the 'Pwned' Trophy ring, this creative effort enough to snare Reg's first nomination of the season:

Congratulations Reg on your Round 6 nomination :thumbsu:

Next Week

Next week sees the Warriors return home to Van Cortlandt Park, and a matchup with the 3-3 Geelong Wolves. After what was a feisty matchup in the corresponding fixture last season, let's make sure we make our presence felt this week and get amongst it :thumbsu:

Good game Warriors. We are back on track now and the positional changes and sacking Neil Craig has been a success.

Round 7 Match Review Vs Geelong Wolves

Round 7 saw the Coney Islanders return home from the much vaunted yet successful 'Desert to Dessert' road trip to take on the 3-3 Geelong Wolves. While the Wolves/Warriors had put on a controversial fixture last season, this thread was a lot more tame in the leadup, with both teams keen to get amongst the qooty come gametime.

It was the Warriors who made the early running, early goals to midfielders alex_is_on_fire and El Dubya setting the tone for the home side. While the Wolves settled to a degree they struggled to contain the Warriors mix of agression and outside run, half forwards Mr_Smooth and Haduken dining out on the silver service being provided by their teammates up the field, 4 goals between them enough to see the Warriors take a 29 point buffer into the first change.

Quarter Time
Coney Island Warriors 7.2.44
Geelong Wolves 2.3.15

While the first term was a free flowing affair the second stanza proved to be more of an arm wrestle, the Wolves determined to slow down the play and stem the Warrior onslaught. With Warrior stalwarts zackah and Sydney Bloods working overtime in defence, the home side were able to match the new found intensity of the Wolves, eventually taking a 22 point lead into the long break.

Half Time
Coney Island Warriors 9.3.57
Geelong Wolves 5.5.35

It was the Warriors who stamped their authority on the match in the third quarter, makeshift ruckman Norm Landrover dominating around the stoppages and giving first use of the qooty to the Warrior onball brigade. When Warrior spearhead Stronzo kicked his third major at the 18 minute mark the home side had opened up a commanding 56 point advantage, before two late goals from the Wolves bridged the gap to a flattering 42 points.

Three Quarter Time
Coney Island Warriors 15.7.97
Geelong Wolves 8.7.55

The Warriors continued their domination in the final quarter, the Wolves unable to curtail the Warriors around the middle of the ground. The Warrior forwards were feasting on the service provided by their mates upfield, even perennial junktime specialist BigJoeD getting in on the act with a couple of snags late in the piece. In the end it was the Warriors who ran out comfortable 55 point winners, registering their third victory on the trot.

Final Scores
Coney Island Warriors 20.10.130
Geelong Wolves 11.9.75

Goals
Stronzo 5, Haduken 4, Mr_Smooth 3, Les Norton, BigJoeD 2, El Dubya, Reginald Perrin, alex_is_on_fire, Lord_Flashheart

'Pwned' Trophy Nomination - Round 7
100px-0,112,0,112-PWNED_Trophy.png

Round 7 saw inaugural 'Pwned' trophy winner Lord_Flashheart record his second S19 nomination, this pearler enough to earn the chocolates this week:

yyou: So you actually sometimes do wear that on field?!

Most of the time I wear nothing at all. When you hear someone yell from the sideline "that's a huge tackle" it has nothing to do with my defensive game.

Congratulations Flashy on your Round 7 nomination :thumbsu:

Next Week

Round 8 sees the Warriors at home to the East Side Hawks, in a game with real top 4 ramifications - let's make sure we get amongst it in the match thread and take it right up to the boys from Waverley :thumbsu:
