If you guys read between the lines doping has been in this sport for most of not all teams forever, all AFL cares about is a good looking marketable sport the only reason why Essendon got "caught" is because ASADA exists, if they didn't catch them you would never hear about at most just rumors. Same applies for rec drugs.
The AFL stated that they are looking at stemcell research for players to recover quickly, PEDs in this sport are generally used for recovery so if ASADA is constantly looking at the AFL it's no surprise that the AFL are looking for alternatives to keep players on the park.
Notice the silence from clubs regarding Essendon? Well that alone speaks for it's self, if you are a club who is clean cut legit you should be outraged playing "cheats" and.yet there is nothing.

If it was one player then yeah always a possibility that it could be contaminated or some other explanation. With two players seems highly unlikely it could be anything other than a stupid decision by two muppets.

Oh I'm watching. But considering the only player alleged to have taken anything banned was Jack Trengove his suspension would likely be backdated to his last game. He didn't play at all last year and won't play at all this year so if he gets a two year suspension he will have already served it.
