There aren't many times I cheer (sort of) for Collingwood, but each Anzac Day is one.

Collingwood are a much better team than people give them credit for, they'll push for the last couple of spots in the 8.

GWS's form is looking pretty good going into today's game as well given how they dispensed with Melbourne and ran Sydney close.

Even in 2012 "soft draw" year we beat Sydney in Sydney, Freo in Perth and spanked Carlton by 12 goals in Melbourne when they were going ok.
I remember my Carlton supporter friend still saying "who have you beaten?!" after that. Think we beat pretty much everyone except Hawks for the year.

You can read alot into the scheduling of this weeks round. With the exception of Freo, all the clubs the afl couldn't give a rats about are playing on Sunday.
