... this doesn't appear to be the channel 7 feed! It looks to be a different feed ( Laurie Holden or someone else, can you confirm this?)

Remains to be seen if they only uploaded it because it was on TV or whether this is the new MINIMUM STANDARD we should expect.

Agree - Nothing Special about it. It is not the CH7 1, Looks like the ones they use for Scouting and what the Club uses.

That is fine by me and for example I will miss the VFL Game on Saturday as being in Noosa. IF they put the Full Game like that from next week. Means I can still watch the game

Agree - not everyone can get down to VFL Games and People that live to far.

I am on Holidays on Noosa on Saturday so Can’t Be There and the Next Week Bendigo is to far away. So I would love for Club and lukem can put the Full Game up so Fans can watch there VFL Game.

Fans want to see the Talented Kids in the VFL and see how they are goind

FWIW, I know the bloke who does a fair bit of the filming at Collingwood VFL games. I have a feeling his position is a relatively new one and this might explain the expansion of VFL coverage on the Collingwood site.

Yeah, this is from the club's own tapes that they set up in the grandstands so they can review the game. They're not dependent on the TV producers that way, who choose to emphasize things that the coaching staff aren't interested in looking at.

At Victoria Park games, they usually set one up in the back of the Sherrin Stand so that they can have vision looking down the ground from behind the goals (useful for showing defenders where to and where NOT to stand). I'm pretty sure they put others in the Ryder Stand and Bob Rose Stand so that they can have footage from that wing/flank area as well.

Good move by the club, but I wouldn't be popping champagne corks yet. They did a similar thing a year or two back, when they released the entire last quarter of a game which we narrowly won. There was hope back then that that particular release would see every game getting put up for replay, but nothing came of it. I hope this is the start of releasing every game on the website in full for replay, TV broadcast or no TV broadcast.

They have filmed for a long time now though and have refused to show more than highlights.

I hope this continues.

I had a feeling in the past the club was trying to 'control' what the public saw, but think in the current era that it is becoming difficult. Embrace it please pies

Last two quarters haven't loaded yet. Footage is great though. Wide screen shot is similar to ch7's just 30m off the centre. At least they kept the rain off the wide angle. Can't say the same for ch7. Rookie mistake

Thanks for Info and the New Postion that the Bloke who does this means that more of the Full Game being Put Up means it will happen hopefully every week
