Squiggle tips Saints at 51% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
It does stink of Eddie though. Similar thing happened in 2013 with the Rugby at Patersons during the finals. Funny thing was that Eddie assumed that Geelong were going to beat Freo and the Pies were gonna roll Port and that it was already an issue. Hilarious. No harm in asking.
clearly the bulldogs don't need money, so this is a sign that AFL don't need to give them any handouts
Bigger picture > smaller picture. You're right, $750 thousand is a fair bit of moolah. And I see what you're saying about it being an opportunity to test themselves. But would they rather that than have a home ground/state advantage and a greater chance to win?
I think one thing that we're forgetting about is the fans. Imagine having a membership and then finding out you're not going to be able to go to the game that you're paying for. Least fair for them probably.
You watch, the dogs will end up taking the offer. Push will come from above.
Yeah, its not so much a problem as it is a huge inconvenience. The Bulldogs shouldn't even have to thing about this, it's not their problem.Bigger picture > smaller picture.
The season is long, not like one game in round 5 is gonna make-or-break a good team's year and crush their finals aspirations.
As for the season ticket holders, they can reimburse them that one game if need be.
I wonder if the AFL gave the doggies compensation to tell them to pipe down?AFL say no anyway.

Watch. It'll come now after being reported. State government etc. If I'm wrong I'll apologize for my ridiculousness.Haha - if that was going to happen the push would have come prior to it being reported
Dogs are crazy not to take the money. They are in dire straits financially and this could potentially mean they make a profit rather than the inevitable loss this season!
It's irresponsible not to take the money.
So you think teams should be able to buy home games from other sides?
I expct Essendon and Collingwood supporters to say things like this about the Dogs, Melbourne, us and St Kilda. Not our fans, who should know that a lot of "dire trouble" talk about every club is nonsense. Dogs are in a different situation to us, but just as sound financially.Dogs are crazy not to take the money. Melbourne used to sell games to Brisbane. It's silly.
The dogs should and likely will sell games to Ballarat soon enough. If they were to move this game it should go to the Whitten Oval or Ballarat for a lower windfall rather than all the way to Perth.
Bad business for the dogs and unfair for all the other teams who don't get the extra home game Freo would get.
I would've thought a lot of teams would be worried about playing the Dogs now. I know I am.
Would you be happy for North to sacrifice a home game against Freo?
???What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
why not? they are already selling home games to darwin, canberra, tassie, NZ, just to play infront of 10000 people. This solution lets 40,000 people enjoy the game and gives some $ to a welfare club. This competition already isnt equal - You have teams getting extra salary and teams that don't travel outside their state more than 3 times a year. At least this benefits fans, as well as financially struggling clubs.
