My name is Tiarne. I am studying sports journalism at La Trobe University in Melbourne and would love to share some of the work I've done with you all.

If you are interested in looking back on past AFL drafts and seeing how the players fared, I have written a series of articles on Fans United.

I've started with the 2001 draft. I redraft the top 10 players from that draft.

From 2001, my top 3 players are Gary Ablett, Luke Hodge and Chris Judd.

I thought that was a pretty rubbish post myself! I was goign to leave it, but glad you brought it up!

Almost spot on to agreeing with you on revisiting the 2001 draft. The only difference I'd have is probably putting Luke Ball ahead of James Kelly. Other than the obvious putting Gary Ablett Jr as #1, spots 2-5 can arguably be a draw for equal 2nd and makes it a difficult one to judge. Enjoyed the read.
