It would be really easy to show disrespect in the title of the thread, something they will no doubt do but I think we are bigger than that.

It's probably way to early for the thread but with 18 hours and 27 minutes to the first bounce I'm sure there is lots to talk about

This is a much anticipated game,

An opportunity for swans fans to see if anything has changed from the big dance last year.

An opportunity for our players to stand up and make a statement

A chance to go 8 points clear of the old foe with a third of the season down.

Can we silence the doubters and put some demons to bed.?

Will be a cracker.CANT WAIT

I want 4 quarters of desperation footy

From the first to the last, I want stars, I want heroes
A 20 goal lead and the Hawks held at zero
I want blood, I want guts, I want knees in the nuts
I want hurt, I want pain, then to do it again

The whole team obliged to play for redemption
Every one of the Swans, without any exemptions
I want fans to cheer and to hold our heads high
To say to the back monkey "f*&K off now, goodbye"

I want to see Clarko cringe at the sight
Of a host of winged Swans as they soar in full flight
To circle above him and fill him with dread
When it dawns that they're all gonna s**t on his head

If I'm not mistaken, today Goodesy breaks Roosy's career game record of 356.

If he plays every H & A game till the end of the year that'll take him past Bernie Quinlan into 8th place for all-time career games. Wow.

About to head to airport, feeling good about our chances today and and think we'll show them up today.
Swans by 48, Hanners BOG
Can the rest of lot bottle your pessimism until shaw makes his first turnover please

Lol thats not actually my name hope the club would use the real name

I saw the banner

We turn the ball over
By hand and by foot
Hawthorn should kill us
Shove it right up our moot

LOL
Sydney Died
Right in the ass.

I hope you guys coming down from Sydney for the game are rewarded tonight for your passion.
My brains are telling me that we may all be disappointed at games end but my heart is telling me that Goodes will leave his all out there on the ground after having been treated with so much vitriol & hate against this disrespectful, self righteous, pokie fueled Tasmanian political party.

Are we asking too much to once again see Adam Goodes cut a swathe through the middle of the MCG all night? Bring it on Bloods. Send Tasmania's team back to Waverley with their tail between their legs.

"Hawthorn" indeed! A team with an identity crisis who has survived because they moved to Tasmania & train in Waverley.
What the F . . k does that have to do with Hawthorn?

Hawthorn as we knew it actually did fold!

Someone tell me why I'm going to a family dinner rather than the footy tonight? I want have my cake and go to both.

I will be on my phone score tracking nonetheless
Do the opposite. Send a camera to the dinner to track it and watch the footy.

Or, relocate the dinner to the MCG food outlets lol.

How rude organising a dinner on the night of the grand final rematch !

If the meal is not satisfactory I want you shouting "I missed the footy and you serve me this?" Then flip the table and walk out in a rage quit.

For those going to the game tonight, General Admission with your membership will get you access to the top level only. You will need to upgrade to reserved if you want ground level. Did look into sitting in the Swans members area, asking for $25 on top of a membership. I look forward to watching the game from the top level of the Ponsford and admiring the 20,000 empty seats on the bottom level left vacant.

Any other AFL members with Swans club support get a call from the AFL midweek with a free ticket upgrade?

Nice gesture.

Let's bury these c*nts. Pumped.

NB: Weather here is fine, slightly overcast but will be dry - less than %10 chance of rain.

Just thought I'd get this in early.

We have Carlton next week - so at least we will have some form of consolation post-game.
