The worst forward line to take the field

All of our crappy forwards are injured. I'm pretty sure leppa will be naming himself as a full forward next week, as we have no other options.

Sometime in 2012/2013, I think against Sydney, the WCE board was saying that the Eagles forward set up in the last quarter was the worst they'd ever seen. Mainly through injury.

Late 90s Geelong would give it a run when Ronnie Burns was winning the goal kicking with 30 goals for the season.

HF: Derek Hall David Mensch Jason Snell
F: Adam Houlihan David Spinks Ronnie Burns

Right from the top shelf.

On talent, that's not actually too bad. Injury-prone and inconsistent as all hell though.

Agreed. We cobbled together some horrible ensembles in 12-13, especially while Clark was out injured.

I think the low point was when Dawes was the only target, Magner was in a forward pocket, and our best crumber was an ageing Shannon Byrnes.
Seeing as I already posted about this today, round 14 2012:

HF: Howe Garland Magner
FF: Tapscott Rivers Bail

Howe was probably more midfield than forward too.
