After leaving early last week for one of the first times ever, this week is a marked improvement. We are a shambles, playing against a very good team, getting nothing from umps. Perspective. When you're anchoring the ladder, there's more to games than the scoreboard.

Yeah Nicky G hasn't been too overawed considering what he's up against. Tackled when he's had to (what was that about a lack of defensive game ) and played smartly.

You can't tell me that all those making profits from the AFL aren't currently s**t-scared that the game's falling apart at the seams. How often do you see a good game game these days? A good, 80s-, 90s-type game? Never!

Negatives: Disposal by hand and foot is beyond bad.

Rant: White on Buddy. Ranks with Bootsma on Jack R as a WTF. Especially with Hendo playing and never likely to have an impact up forward.

Lowlight: Daisy's kick for goal in the opening minutes. How did it ever get to that with such a star.

Highlight: Cripps working his butt off to set up our second goal.
