Can't really think of one right now. Maybe VB and his awareness, skills etc

Good
I thought VB was alright
Jake Lever played a ripper.
luke brown was alright.

bad
as captain walker needs to do a big play in a game like that.
Dangerfield. he played a ripper. but ticking down the clock like that ***********

Ugly
goal kicking 7.15 kick straight win the game

Your kidding re danger aren't you? Can't blame a guy whose taking a shot with 30-40 secs to go when we go goalless in a quarter

Good:
  • Danger can go to a level where only a handful of players can go. We can't lose him.
  • Laird: Fast becoming a favourite, honest footballer and reliable.
  • Betts and Cameron first half
  • Yolmen: Polished and decisive player. I like him.
  • Brodie Martin could be a forward option for us, even if he keeps missing he will improve his kicking if he backs himself.
  • Ground ball
  • We threw everything at them without out first choice 3 half back and 3 of our top 5 midfielders.
  • Great team performance against a team who will no doubt play off on the first weekend of october.
  • Special mention to Fyfe who is awesome to watch, they probably would have lost without him.

Bad:
  • Tough conditions but some of our kicking was aweful, our kicking efficiency was always worse than theirs.
  • Wright didn't do enough.
  • Tex's stats look okay but his presence was meh, especially for a captain. Pav was able to nail us when it mattered.
  • Sauce got torn a new one in the ruck but did okay around the ground.
  • Blew our opportunities against a team we could least afford to do it against.

Ugly:
  • We saw 3 of the most ridiculous performances today. Danger, Fyfe and Van Berlo. We hang so much s**t on him which no human being really deserves, but lets face it. He is a match loser and his time is up. 4 weeks in a row he has made a huge contribute for the opposition.

Pretty sure he didn't realise the umpire had blown time on. And also. Really? That puts him in the bad? Jesus. o_O

LOL WHAT

good:
effort
contested possessions were high
tacking was up
dangerfield
kids
martin's first half. played like his career depended on it

bad:
foot skills or lack there of
senior players not standing up

ugly:
jacobs being absolutely belted
walker's game
van berlo
mackay
goal kicking

Good
Pressure so much better
Despite them kicking 1st 3, wasn't due to lack of intensity from us, intensity early was good improvement
Danger v Fyfe- huge games from both. Worth watching the game for that alone
Lever- great signs

Bad
Losing
Lever injury???
VB- always finds a way to put himself under more pressure than necessary, when under pressure his kicks always come out low/flat so no distance to at least clear the area meaning resulting turnovers end up damaging

The Good:

-Dangerfield - geelong fans will be licking their hair lips

-Lever - Wow what a gun. how many games has this kid played again. How cool was that play in the heat of the last quarter.

-Kelly - Love his toughness and aggression

-Cheneys spoiling

-The Great Eddie Betts

-Charlie Cameron - Coming along nicely

-Umpiring - Surprisingly

-Laird, Brown - Both turned into quality little defenders

-Grigg - really liked his game

-M Crouch - Too easily pushed off the ball at the moment but lookout once he puts on some muscle

The Bad, The Ugly:

-Another year of losing to top 4 teams

-Cheneys kicking - Players who have ordinary disposal don't last long at Hawthorn

-Tex - Terrible - Gave us nothing.

-Lack of a player who can take a contested overhead mark in our forward 50.

-Jenkins - Would compete with watts for the softest big man in the game. Haven't we seen enough now Phil?

-Van Berlo - Will be the next really average footballer (Doughty,Reilly) we gift 200 games. Painful to watch. Adds nothing.
