I know I would , in all fairness to him I reckon he deserves another chance and he has unbelievable talent . If our other options don't go through I reckon it would be worth looking at him .

I'd back our leadership group and playing list to get the best out of him, if he wanted to come to Richmond.

Thanks to the positive Ben Cousins experiment (while he was with us anyway, after he left the club we can't be responsible for his decisions), I think we are a club that would actually be able to get the best out of him during his career.

Why the bennell hate just because of the pic?

We have wanted pies players who self reported

We have wanted hawks players who *injunction*

We have wanted players who get arrested after being off their ****

Bennell has messed up, no doubt, but having art to prove it doesn't make him any better or worse than the others we have talked about trading for previously

Yes.

Buy low, sell never.

Bennell will be a superstar, and if we can get him super-cheap it would be crazy not to look at.

I would back our culture to sort him out. More leaders than GC.

Name the pies player who self reported

Name the pies player who self reported

Don't have them because the afl cannot actually name them under the aflpa agreemebt.

Club had a player culture of self reporting, which pissed of Eddie because management there had no idea of the extent of the problem, while the afl did, yet the afl was holding the club liable for fixing it

The rumours of those who self reported were not minor ones, and def included a couple I know people on this board were eager to get

i know harley, and I've said in numerous other threads, no, and its not entirely to do with his partying, which isn't an issue (more so than most other footballers), he's not an addict, just a naughty boy, having said that, its possible that he could be a negative influence on the pups at tiger land.

but I've had breakfast with him numerous times, gone out with him, coffees, dinners etc, and served him drinks when at work, he isn't a professional, he's a ripping bloke, and really respects the idea of close knit mates, family, looking after your own.

his calf injury last year took far longer than it should've to heal, because he didn't do the rehab, instead he would be out socialising, on his feet, late dinners, etc, instead of taking his injury seriously, and then when it came time to train, he would 'put mayo on it' and say, "nah she's still pretty sore" and sit on the masseuse table for an hour.

hes a nice guy, an elite talent, and a gifted player, but it has to be a no. i don't think he'll reach his potential.
