No, it doesn't mean that at all. It just means that the player with the ball would rather take the meterage penalty rather than the time penalty waiting for the player to be called back behind the mark.

I don't blame Hawthorn for it, I just wish either the umps would penalise it, or let my team rort it as well.

Something else which I don't like is how late they give the ball back when it's the opposition's free, often feigning ignorance at who it's to or where they are - or they don't let the man paid a mark or free stand up because they've tangled their limbs up their opponent's asses. I believe this comment was made too by the commentary team - about how 'clumsy' Hawthorn are at getting up.

Brodie Grundy is going to have a brilliant career. Forwards a worry at the moment but these guys are clearly ahead of schedule and will be regular finalists over the next six seasons.

Probably should, although missing Roughy and Frawley will probably mitigate that somewhat. Would think we'd have to play much better over the next two weeks to even win one of the next 2.

Thought we were pretty average for most of the game. Last 10 minutes was a big effort though.
Credit to the pies though, should have put it to bed in the 3rd. They are going in the right direction.
