Congratulations to all entrants in what has been a super competition all around. Commiserations to Bohemia and Helsinki for their terrific entries and deserved preliminary final appearances.

Congratulations to both lmach and Lion Cub 16 for making the grand final! Happy voting!

Expect a few hints on what to expect for next year's FIRA season as the week progresses. There will be some pretty big changes!

memo to future self, try out for this comp next season!

Everyone who enters will compete in the league qualifiers at the very least, so welcome aboard!

Those who don't make the league will still compete in the FIRA Cup!

The cup will be a straight knockout competition that runs in parallel to the league, and everyone will take part in that, even if they don't make it through the league qualifiers. The draw for the cup will happen after each round, with no seedings or anything like that. I'm really, really hoping for a couple of cinderella cup runs!

is there a link to the fira rules

Not for next season, where things will change a bit from this season. As this great Grand Final comes to a close, more information will come out.

What we have so far, is that you'll need to develop an Australian Rules football club from the ground up, based somewhere in Europe. You don't have to bid for your team, you'll automatically be awarded your bid. If that means I get 5 teams from Madrid, then I do. It's fine.

Start thinking about a location, team name, guernsey ideas, colours etc.
