All Voss did was offer the first round pick which was never going to win. The asked about Patful at the time and Voss refused to consider it, now he ended up there anyway and if we had done that with some draft pick negotiating we would've got the deal done. If you really want to land the player you desperately need you have to be willing to pay the price required, Voss wasn't and that is why Melbourne waltzed in and picked him up.
