Compiled a tally of "wooden spoons" in the NFL (post-merger).

With the merger official from the start of the 1970 season, the 1970 NFL draft being the first of them...so counting the 1969 NFL/AFL results in this tally.

Meaning...in 1969 both leagues still maintained their separate schedules and standings, but the Steelers in the NFL finished so stone motherless last in 1969, that they then qualify in this tally -- which is based on who owned the #1 overall pick in all the post-merger years. Obviously not counting the expansion teams getting the 1st pick, but who actually finished last the previous year.

How the **** do the Jags have 0?

Maurice Jones Drew, screwed them out many high picks, carried them for years, he was an amazing player at the Jags. Youre right though, it seems quite amazing they have never finished last, have they ever had a QB?

MJD/Trent Richardson, where slow, washed up, fat running backs are given their final paycheck - Oakland.

Good on the Patriots organisation.
Giving their fans some success after all that pain.
Hopefully the Bucs can turn it around and give their fans some joy too :)
Have zero sympathy for the Colts (tanking should not be rewarded)

The Jaguars, like Giants, and Seahawks, and some others, have been the SECOND WORST team, but not the worst....in the post-merger era.
Oh, the Seahawks were the worst........They were just in the AFC and got a few more upset wins over utter tripe ;)

Worth noting: That Dolphins 2007 campaign (1-15) was all about 'oh so close but no cigar' Dottie. They lost so many (7) by a TD or less and the one they won was GOLDEN.. vs the Ravens!! :D:D in OT.. :p

The following season, they were primed to be sleeper specials and BOOOM :fire: Won the AFC East Division title!! :fire: First Div title since 2000.
