vickery is a hard match up could see him kick 3. dusty or lids will bob up for 2-3 lennon should kick 2. Lloyd can hit the scoreboard. cotch will goal as well. just cant kick that many points against the poo and wee's
conca coming in frees up our forward line..give Dusty and lids more time up forward...

Will be interesting to see how you guys go, a lot of quality and improvement on last years model (almost half the side has changed) but id say our ins are pretty good to (compared to what is out).

Best of luck on Friday - Hawks by 5 goals.

We cant compete 1 on 1 for leg or ball speed so having 1 less tall makes sense. It just means our mids in the fwd line must kick goals.
Have to apply pressure like crazy. The speed that they catch and release the ball to the next player is so slick.

Gees their changes are bloody good.

As good as our best footy is, the Hawks are going to need to be off by 15-20% if we are any chance .

Their depth is amazing.

Glad to see Conca back.

I think Hardwick did good with the changes. Apparently, a tall forward line doesn't work well against Hawthorn according to some Hawks supporters, so it makes sense why McBean didn't come in.

Conca is really needed here - I think he laid the most tackles last year. We need that sort of physical player against Hawthorn.

Vickery in was a no-brainer for Griffiths. Vickery is good with set shots, so he could teach the boys a thing or two about being accurate.

As the days come by, I start to feel more confident about this game. I don't know why though, because nothing about their team vs our team should give me any kind of confidence other than Alex Rance, Deledio, Vickery and Maric missing from the team the last time we played them

The trigger from winning the ball, and taking off is crazy.
Have to be right onto em.Run like ferrets down a rabbit hole. They have rushed in home grown hero (lol) Frawley for this game.
