Keep an eye on the offical Suns Facebook page..
Calling for Eades head and if McKenna was coach we would of won..
Blind ******s.

We have a pretty good measuring stick , don't we?
That god awful performance at Metricon last year with a reasonable team vs the performance tonight with a team full of goers
Great stuff
Great coaching
Go Suns!

Unlucky tonight the Gold Coasters. Weagles kissed on the d!@k by the umpire fairy yet again it would seem. Ripping contest all night only for the game to be decided by a goal umpire who couldn't decide if he had a pair of balls or not. Was definitely a goal. Oh, and apparently it is okay in todays game for a player to take on a tackler, be spun around 360 degrees with both hands up in the air free, then to go to ground with the ball, then to release the ball and then to scoop it out to a team mate, all while being held in a tackle!! FFS this game gets harder to watch every year. And they wonder why crowds are dropping.

A few of Bigfooty's favourite whipping boys in Shawy, Jesse L and Harbs had really good games
Possibly Jesse's best game for us.
His improvement this year has been spectacular and strong!
Starting to think he'll be a 200 game player

Some thoughts after last night:

The addition of some speed/agility in Saad, Harbrow and Martin makes a difference.

Touk keeps on Rising (Are they blind down there? He might win our B&F but won't come close to Rising Star.)

Welcome back Harley. He is just so much cleaner and precise than anyone else in the team atm. Will never be a contested ball beast but tackling with much more intent in these last 2 games. Fingers crossed he keeps rising as well. Smh, so much talent. Smh.

Lonergan showing he can run in the midfield as a big body clearance player (but not there yet).

Aaron Hall has to be off the delist list by now. There has always been something there, starting to show it as he puts in more work on the field.

The competitiveness and non-stop go of Tom Nicholls is why he has the first ruck gig.

Our kicking is slowly improving. Lots of hitting open targets last night (hallelujah), there were even some high quality kicks.

Steven May.

But the two best things from last night:
Brandon Matera can work hard enough to be a good two way player who can get up the ground as a link player. A couple of super kicks from the back 50 to find a player in space. Big tick. Just needs to hold his marks.
Rocket can get them playing hard for 4 quarters, even when they are stuffed.

Is it April 2016 yet? Is it April 2016 yet? Is it April 2016 yet? Mum, is it April 2016 yet?

He used to seem to be running to the wrong spots at the wrong times. Getting quite a bit of time on ball in tonight's game and is getting some nice touches but has displays the ability to have long stretches in games where he seems to be a spectator and gets caught watching the play.

I think he could be better suited playing a role like the Heath Shaw role at GWS, the floating running half back and move Malceski or Harbrow.
I worry whenever Hall gets the ball in the backs. Not only does he not appear to know where he is going, no one else does either. Much prefer him H/F

We have played some very good footy over the last month. Really finishing the season off strong and players are finally standing up and buying in to Rocket's culture.

A lot of our B grade players were at an A grade level last night.

Just need to increase Chaz's contract up to $500k a yr now and he will surely stay.

Who in their right mind would go to the Lions who are showing a lot of issues and publically screaming for a priority pick to save them. Not a good selling point?
