Tony Lockett, 1991.
Came back from a back injury in round 7 to start his year unfit and finished the season with 127 goals. An average of 7.47 a game that dragged the Saints into the finals IIRC.
Kicked 100 goals in 13 games, used to have the newspaper clipping of it pinned up on my wardrobe as a kid.

Crawford 1999.

Not the absolute best season ever, but he certainly blitzed the comp that year. Ran his opponents into the ground, week in, week out.

Obviously biased here, but Crawf was lucky that Buckley got injured and missed 5 or 6 games. Bucks averaged more possessions (and actually kicked 50% more goals despite the fewer games) than Crawf and still finished 3rd in the Brownlow. His numbers that year were staggering for someone who missed a quarter of the season.

End Thread. Unbelievable effort, possibly matched only by the season that saw the point that shook a nation in 1966 - one small boot for man, a giant boost for mankind (well some mankind anyway)!
