I'm based in Caulfield and was looking at playing footy for the first time however I have no idea which competitions/leagues I should be looking considering. I've got a decent level of fitness and have played soccer the last 10 or so years and can kick a footy well enough.

Is anyone able to suggest which comps I should be looking at and perhaps the levels? I'm not after a super competitive or highly skilled league, just something that will be fun and I won't be too out of place being a first time. Any help would be appreciated even if its what competitions I should be looking at (VAFA, SFL?) and how they compare to each other.

Thanks.

Same here - I'm 20 years old and I haven't played footy since U14s but I'm looking to get back into it, mainly for the fitness and the fun. I'm based around the Flemington/Essendon area, anyone know what comps and clubs I could potentially look at joining in 2016?

I'm pretty fit as it is, but might be a bit rusty with the footy. Any help would be great :) thanks
