What was it? I'm guessing it's appropriate that the page has been cancelled by twitter.

POV of shooter. 2 videos, probably thirty seconds all up.

It's very crass, but if I were to compare it to anything it looked like a video game.
I thought that might be it. Appropriate that the accounts been cancelled then. It's pretty ******* disturbing news in general though, I can'ty imagine what would be going through someones head to actually do something like that.

I seen the footage from the reporters POV earlier and her screams as the shots are ringing out are chilling. The very sound of someone staring down their mortality.

Yeah, that's pretty stuffed up. You can actually see the air effects of the first bullet whizzing past.

Can't say I'm surprised though, they'll never tighten their gun laws as long as the NRA exists and continue to pour billions lobbying and funding politicians.

Trying to say that extra firearms laws would prevent this is off the mark, he said a couple of years ago that he'd do something. You're not going to prevent that with any law.

The whole point of tighter gun laws is to minimise such things, to make it harder for people like that to get guns. At any rate it's much better than the current systems they have in place.

You assume that the only way to acquire firearms is to buy them from a gun shop. That is simply not true. Here in Australia, look at Man Monis, he sure as hell didn't buy that sawn off pump shotgun from the local gunshop...

I'm not assuming that at all.

Guns can also be purchased from gun shows where no checks are required.

If you tighten gun laws, you put a dent in their circulation regardless if you can get it in shady ways or not.

Most gun crime is carried out with handguns over there, most states require police checks before someone can take a handgun from a shop, plus the places with the most gun crime have the most stringent gun laws. The US would get more results from fixing their health system before trying to blame guns.

its estimated that there are at least 300 million guns in america. the circulation horse has well and truly bolted.

the problem is the checks have ridiculous conditions on them which renders them practically useless.
look at the church massacre how did that nutter pass the check?

he didn't, but the laws states that if the person doing the background check can't sort through all BATFE, FBI, State, city and county police databases and pending court decisions. in 3 days then the shop can sell the gun anyway.

what actually happened was the reviewer asked for time. 3 days later the gun was sold to a nutjob white supremacist. The gunshop did not even notify the agency that the sale had been made (and by law they don't have too) at the time of the shooting his background check was still being reviewed.

"stringent" gun laws in the US do not exist the ones that masquerade as effective laws are a ******* joke. the police checks may as well not exist.
a 30 day wait period at an absolute minimum should be the restriction on short arms.

you couldn't get the necessary information in 3 days here Australia population 22 million let alone 300 million.

Adding more conditions won't change a thing, if they can't buy it legally, they'll just buy it on the black market, which does exist, especially in the cities with stringesnt gun laws, such as Chicago and New York. Those two cities are highest for gun crime too, despite these laws. Hell, here in Australia, the crims don't seem to find it very hard to buy firearms not available to licensed people. An Ozpost worker was getting Glocks sent into Australia through the mail....
