Spotted the two coaches in deep conversation sharing a few beers after the game, who said they don't like each other?
I also seen the 2 senior coaches having a chat and a few beer looks like they have great respect for each other ,
It's it great to see after such an important game with lots on the line , that they were interacting with each other's plays credit to you both.

typical elimination final at Wynnum yesterday certainly as standards go not one of the highlights of the season
Football was ugly turn overs from both sides a plenty but certainly a tough game for both sides at ground level which made it an enjoyable game to watch.
Vic point gave it to Cararra early jumping to a early 3 goal lead but Cararra clawed their way back in 2nd quarter and set up the win in 3rd quarter with some good running footy. Viccy point came hard in last quarter but fell short. To the Cararra guys on the balcony watching you were loud and proud and certainly even though it was not at home you certainly made it feel like a home game and the Banter between yourselves and the Ipswich guys was amusing to say the least. it was also great to see the young kids from juniors run out with seniors and as a club that pathway between seniors and juniors is really strengthening so it holds good for moving forward as a club.As a club this year we have really learnt heaps and looking forward to next week.
To all the doubters who look at us and say it's only Cararra playing Marooka next week and that the Saints will get flogged
Maybe that will happen but remember Passion for your club and Finals footy means anything can happen on the day.
Looking forward to next week
Go Saints.

Some interesting decisions by AFLQ on where games are played but none more questionable than the 2nd tier women's finals this week end. The women are playing before the ressies. Moreton Bay v Zillmere at Bond ........ nice travel for the girls for a 9am start and Bond v Jindalee at Wynnum????

Seniors
Suns over bond- Suns coach knows how to win the big games!
Roosters to good for Carrara!

Ressies
Redcliffe by 2 goals Mc Conchie to kick a bag
Ipswich over Suns!

You don't loose skill and ability overnight Snoop, Roosters are more than capable of bouncing back.
Fair call, but as long as the GM coach persists with the "dads army" midfield they will never beat a team like Bond and the Suns with their "new" recruits. It may have worked last year but the opposition was not at the standard of these teams.

Great Decision by AFLQ to switch the venues of the reserve finals
Suns now have both teams at Bond and Cararra both teams at Wynnum
Should bring a good crowd of supporters to both games because it doesn't split the clubs on the day.
Well done AFLQ

Not sure how it looks when a reserve grade team like Carrara goes through near unbeaten all year and gets beat by 100 points in a major semi final.

Either they had a heap out or Redcliffe have their near seniors playing reserve grade?

Maybe there should be a clause next year once you play 8 senior games you become in eligible to play reserve grade finals even if you play 5 reserve grade games to qualify.

Not saying this is what Tigers have done but it does seem a little different to during season results.
