So Pies willing to offer pick 7 + next year's 2nd for Treloar who like Carlisle is not a FA (as such).
There's talk that Port's pick 10 is not enough for Dixon......yet pick 5 too much for Carlisle! I'm pretty sure we'll have to chuck in a 2nd or 3rd but still the Saints fans tell unfair...what a joke.
Don't worry. That is big Footy flogathon, which is partly because of our perceived hard to deal with tag and the controversy we draped ourselves with over the last few years.

No way Saints will make such a big play for him, convince him to publicly declare he wants them and then hang him out to dry.

Not overly concerned, other than the fact that our #1 target chose someone else.

That being said, I'd choose Sydney as well. If they're offering $450k the only way he chooses us is if we offer in excess of $550k.

Well we got the McCarthy deal with GWS to worry bout first.

I just cant see this happening mate, his manager just said Freo are offering 2 first round picks..
I wonder what ramifications Rice selecting/not selecting StKilda will have?
Is he worth a second round F/S nomination?
Could make an EFC return pick more valuable in a Carlisle trade.

Callum Sinclair reportedly very close to signing at Sydney, surely that means Luey doesn't go there aswell.
Actually, fits them perfectly. Allows Reid to play defence, Buddy and Tippett to play full time forward, Sinclair and Leuenberger as a ruck combination.

I would of much prefered Lowden last year. What did the crowd give up to get him?

Picks 31, 50, 68 for Cheney, Lowden, 43, 47, 59.

This is what we need to consider, that to get what you want you don't need to have an all out victory in a trade. Hawthorn got rid of a couple of foot soldiers essentially for upgrading a draft pick by 12 spots. Having said that, we need to ensure we're not taken advantage of either.

I doubt they would get both though, wouldn't have much left in the cap would they?
