Some of the possible trades and expectations being thrown around seem a bit odd. Toumpas for a third-rounder seems well unders. Sure, he has not set the world alight but he was pick 4 only three years ago. Richmond seem to think Brisbane could give them 17 or 21 for David Astbury, Richmond are better at comedy than their supporter, Mick Molloy. GCS may have a bit of a problem getting what they want from Freo for Harley Bennell. They want Freo's first which would be fair if he didn't carry the extra baggage. But their second is 35 which wouldn't cut it. Also, they are after Cam Mcarthy and may need everything for that to work. Melbourne are after Ben Kennedy and they should not have to part with much to get him but there was talk of a 4th-rounder(#61) being offered which seems nowhere near enough.
Then there is Essendon expecting pick 5 for Jake Carlisle and Carlton sure they will get first round picks for Lachie Henderon and Chris Yarran.
