If its not in the rules you cant want some clubs to do it and others not to! If they have what will build them a premiership contending team then why wouldnt you?
 
Alex Glesson is the most arrogant bloke getting around, yells at team mates when they stuff up, everything is about him, he's not even any good, bad move by elmore making him coach, blokes a flog.

who do you play for matty man? did you play against him? I heard he lives in Melbourne and apparently ex coach said said it should be called "melmore". What are your thought for elmore for 2016?
 
Played against him, he takes arrogant to a new level, hopefully dosent drive a few of the locals away with his negative comments to individuals, which happened this year with a couple, they will be up there if they have more depth
 
yeah fair enough mate. Interesting to see what happens. They have some good players, but once injuries hit, its all over. I feel there is a huge divide at the club and they dont train together.

There would be a fair few clubs in the same boat training wise. Players living in Melbourne aren't usually travelling up for training. Is Brodie Montague (ex Rochester/Sandhurst) playing at Elmore?

Elmore need recruits, simple as that, so not sure about the Melmore call from others. Had heard from Rochy boys Monty might be heading closer to home.

Another interesting year ahead in the HDFL it seems the past couple of finals series have been crackers especially the GF with huge crowds and nail biting games. Word on the street seems to have the top 3 staying there with North Leitchville and Colbo having their lists in good order. White Hills have done some good recruiting and Huntly and Elmore will have pretty handy lists as well. Ive heard that Heathcote will have a stronger list but wont have enough to be alive come finals time though and that Mounts and LBU are almost certain to struggle.
Hows compare with what everyones thinking?
 
Who has elmore picked up this year? will they finish 6th again like last year after spending some serious cash? who are the players?

Ex-Eaglehawk and Kang Flat forward Phil Lobb was one has played at Elmore previously as well coming off a couple of flags and good years at Romsey so they will be hoping too see more of that. Jesse Smith that played a couple of games with Carlton was another Cam Millward someone mentioned on here some others might be able to fill the gaps with others. Id say 4th or 5th would be a good finish for them.
 
Hi Gents, hope all have recovered from the Australia Day weekend festivities, who are hdfl teams playing in preseason matches? Any locked in?
 
Heard Colbinabbin have picked up former Strath and South Bendigo gun midfielder Cam Hall. Nice get! Think Hally might have won the Storms first two Best & Fairests. Haven't heard much else about their ins and out but with Nick Knight coming in as playing Coach he will be another quality player and any side who has Weeks at the goal front is a walk up finalist so they could be putting pressure on North and Leitchy again.

Matt Ladson one of those awards. Leitchville Gunbower are interesting. Haven't heard of any outs at this stage. Only bad kicking prevented a flag so see what happens.
