Very even comp next year. Bit of a raffle really. Absence of WADA will s**t 17 teams no end but other than that very hard to pick :D

I feel bad to have to put my own team at bottom but it is, what it is.
Going to need a good time of development to start to see more than 3 to 5 wins in season.
In particular basically got to build a forward line from scratch. Not an easy to do in 6 months.
Sydney had a relative down year this year. Injuries and other issues wrecked them getting to finals with any momentum or good form. Their list is too good not to bounce back.
Hawks too experienced not to still up there.
A Geelong rebound is assured if all Menzel, Vardy and Dangerfield play most of the season.
Giants to make great strides forwards. Bulldogs to hold ground. Eagles will find it hard to get back to top two but should still be top eight.
Port should be back to top 8.
Adelaide will miss Dangerfield's brilliance so do not expect them to still make 8.
Freo with McPharlin gone and Pavlich and Sandilands surely in last season will find it hard to be a top 4 side. Just got to kick more goals but still nothing assured there for them.
Richmond will find the likes of Giants and Geelong go straight past them and will be a contender for final 8 but I think in the squeeze may just miss. North the same. Harvey, Petrie, Dal Santo, Wells and Waite are not getting any younger. They got to get middle tier players to keep improving but sides like Gold Coast , Dogs , Port and Giants have more scope for that next year. Collingwood list on right track but hard to see them really making headway next season. St.Kilda and Melbourne still need patience to expect much more wins. Brisbane I feel less sure but midfield talent still good to get some decent wins. The problem is the probably drop games they should win too.
Essendon probably only side that could possibly finish bottom below us but their structure down spine more settled than ours.

Why would it be a surprise if Richmond finish where they finished last year?

Wouldn't surprise me if Port and Richmond finished exactly where they did last year, this year.

Death of the Bloods' culture. Giants take over in Sydney and a magnificent era of domination begins.

a lot of posts featuring Geelong in the top half of the eight. Unless the game plan is altered considerably which can adjust to handle the opposition momentum shifts (we simply had no answer whatsoever when teams got their tails up), can't see us improving within a short space of 6-9 months time in order to catapult back into the top four. Yes, a handy draw will help considerably but this is a team which lost to Melbourne on their home ground and drew with St Kilda.

90 % of these predictions are so funny. History shows teams generally climb or fall gradually. All you dons fans....rub top 8 out of the equation. In fact rub top 16 out. The cats won't fly back up the ladder just because of dangerfield. Dockers may slide a bit but from first this year to ninth or so next year is just silly. Eagles easy draws are over so a real test. Hawks there abouts again. Port back in the hunt. Collingwood more sliding.

Hawks
Port

Eagles
Tigers
Swans
North
Dogs
...the rest dont matter
