From the club snapchat it shows Fyfe doing running with Balic one on one. It may be a way of easing Balic in to training after his wrist operation and at the same time learning the rope from the best in the business. it would be great if Balic can hang around Fyfe as much as possible as there are similarities in the two of them from when Fyfe was first drafted.

Tucker looks very scared

Got it Aar......sorry ....Yes Mr Sandilands ...Mr Sir....Mr Sirilands.

Today would have to be pretty exciting for our new draftees. Meeting Sandi, Pav and Fyfe in person for the first time and realising they are now your team-mates must be surreal for them. Well at least until tackling practice starts and then it all becomes a little too real.

Training Report Type Thingy

Today the players were grouped and went off to do yoga and swap around with gym work and some light ball skills.

Ball work comprised of hand balling and was very jovial. They are doing their 3km run tomorrow so this session was never going to be a heavy one on the track.

I can't go into much detail because it was only light duties on the track although C. Pearce was still pumping out the miles and looks really fit.

Salim and Co can put some more detail in if wanted. I don't want to repeat what's already been said in other training reports from what was a quiet day.

Not much happened ,very easy quiet session. Fyfe and Ballic ran goal to goal together. When you see Fyfe and a newbie together you realise how big Nathan is and how much work the youngsters need to do. Apeness and Yarran in the rehab section running, Yarran with his knee strapped. A lot of laughter and good humour on the track . It was light skill work with a competition to see who would be the last the last man standing in a don't drop the ball exercise. That little comp was won by Mayne much to his delight. . General consensus amongst those watching was that all the older players seemed to have lightened of. Barlow in particular seemed to have lost a lot of weight. Tomorrow is the 3klm run so that will be interesting to see how they stack up against last years run. Friday should be a lot more interesting than today.
