Haven't been to Adelaide but going to try next year.
Also- I love a packed MCG, but I'd argue a packed Etihad under the roof has just as good an atmosphere. Something about place- can get electric there.
Geelong v Essendon 2011 and cats/saints 2009 are just two examples.

Adelaide Oval is awesome but seriously...no way is it better than the G. Come on I realise there is nothing else to go on about here in Adelaide but to say it's better than the G is getting a little bit too excited.

depends... went to a few games now at the MCG. Finals packed house 90000 people, mcg. but lacks anything special when theres like 40000 or less....
Love adelaide oval though. the oval and its immediate surroundings are just beautiful

Adelaide Oval. The MCG is an overrated concrete monstrosity that isn't even half full most of the time.

G fits more. Adelaide Oval has far more character. AO for me.

The MCG easily, I've been to AO, there all just loud peanuts anyone can do that, nothing special about that.

Love the G, but there are just too many bad seats because it is so big.
