I like how Obama trying to "make America more like the rest of the world" is somehow seen as being worthy of condemnation.

Rubio is getting a serve by the media on a day where everyone is sitting in front of their TV's and following social media. Almost certainly gives Trump NH.

Probably a dumb question but what stops democrat supporters from voting in a republican strawman at the republican primary or vice versa?

In the US, when you register to vote you have to choose a party to align with. That allows you participate both in primaries for that party, but not the other party, as well as the general election.

From memory, some states do have open primaries where it doesn't matter about your party affiliation.

What do unaligned voters do or do they not exist?

For the Democratic nomination as an example

Closed caucus/primary - only registered Democrats vote
Semi-closed caucus/primary - those registered as Democrats or independents may vote
Semi-open caucus/primary - anyone who is not registered as a Republican may vote
Open caucus/primary - anyone can vote

NH is semi-closed, NV is closed, SC is open, most of the Super Tuesday states are open

What time does US TV (ie CNN, Fox) coverage of the New Hampshire primary start here in Australia on Foxtel?
