I'm not allowed pets in my apartment, unfortunately.

My favourite pet at home with my mother before I moved out was this huge black and white cat called Monty. He was a weird, quirky thing but I had an attachment with him. He'd turned up on our doorstep at about 10-12 weeks old in early 2012.

He passed away at only three and a half years of age in September last year, and his passing was not natural; my mother had him put to sleep after he attacked one of her other cats, which was the culmination of three years of almost constant challenging behaviour. She didn't think to ask me to take him because I'm not allowed to have pets and because of his weird nature, he probably wouldn't have been adopted had he gone to something like Lort Smith, but let me tell you, had she just called me and told me to take him otherwise he was being put down, I would have just said "bugger the rules; I'll make it work".

It's still a sore point to this day. Anyway, here he is:
