AFL players who smoke

I know this used to be common but was wondering how many current players smoke, or stories of the old days!

Not a footballer (well, seniors anyway) but I remember attending a Aus v Pakistan ODI at the MCG circa 1997 and was sitting in front of the Aus players box in the MCC, Shane Warne chain-smoked the entire Australian batting innings.

Dane Rampe has been caught smoking several times and that has annoyed me quite a bit since he is a modern player who should be trying to get the best out of his body.

I doubt there'd be any current players that go through 2-3 packs a week like a full-time smoker would. They simply wouldn't be able to keep up.

As for players that might have a couple of darts when they're blind drunk on a Saturday night or over the off season, well I reckon there'd be plenty of them. Colin Sylvia was one, unsurprisingly!

It's vapour - a change of physical state as opposed to combustion, which represents a chemical change.

Still smokes during the off season I think. His fitness has never been in question so his addiction has never been an issue.
