Great to see the footy back. Concerning looking at 2 teams forfeiting and one full of permit players to get over the line. Anyone heard a rumor that Wesburn JFC have been asked to officially align with a senior club? Not sure why if it is true.

Woori 7.1.43 def by Dingley 8.9.57 - Had a few U17 & 19 players but looked ok. Get a few players back and will be better. Had a reserves team which was a surprise. Again kids from U15's & up filling in. Woori 11 Dingly 87.

Powelltown 19.15-129 def Yarra Old Grammarians 15.4-94

Powelltown lost by about 5-6 goals against Ellinbank. Lots of players missing. Even with all their recruits I think their midfield may be a little weak. Fowkes kicked 3.

Also Christian Cameron (Warby) & Tennyson Amarant (Healesville) both former U18 Captains.

Woori have now lost a fair few guns. They never really recruit so where does this leave them?

Quite a few marquee games will be gone with new structure. Will be interesting to see what new rivalries will be created with the new teams.

Do you know which team has applied? Yarra Junction's recruits for 2019 would have them competitive for D1 or dominating D2.
