    I don't see Americans really flocking to AFL for all the reasons Sunny_ and Ogopogo mentioned. I would like to add one more: money. NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL players all make ungodly amounts of money. AFL (and CFL) players don't. You'll get a few Americans , but you're not going to get a massive influx.
