Took the kids to the park today and had a bit of a peek through the windows at training for 5-10 mins.
Not much I can report from that distance. Full ground drills, Blue (1st’s for forwards vs Orange 1st’s for Defenders). Mix of Mids across both.
All I really got from it was that poor Lewis...
You would suspect no bid came for Daicos because they didn’t have a first rounder. Like if they kept the first rounder, someone would have bid to keep them honest.

Kennedy quoted this week saying AR helped a lot with diet and fitness. Charlie’s knee is sorted. Doc 2 x ACL and back to best.
Very reasonable to always review someone’s performance. And always room to improve!
But I am comfy with him being involved in fixing Charlie’s knee and calling that...
As posted above from some tweets.
Voss said post match he was hopeful it was just bruising on the knee for Pitto, but they would wait for scans

I am unsure how I feel about AR overall. Honestly I have no idea if his input has been amazing or underwhelming as I am on the outside.
However I note many people said Charlie Curnow was cooked and AR got him back on the park. I give this a lot of credit.

Devastated for Marchbank. Didn’t deserve this after his injury journey so far.
Unsure why people want to delist him. He is contacted so that would cost salary cap anyway. Plus his replacement for his list spot would likely be pick 55 or something. Would much rather have a talented (fringe best...
Agree with these. Less so point 3.
Apologies if it’s already been said. But in terms of keeping players at clubs and also keeping players in the system longer. I was a huge fan of the reduction in salary cap usage for veterans. I can’t remember the specifics but I feel like it was 10 years...
This is precisely my thoughts.
I note both LOB and Dow had throwaway years as there was no genuine reserves to develop. So can’t be judged on 2020. More upside than people think for mine.

In general next years first seems to be fairer value if we back ourselves in. My only concern is that’s one less asset to trade next year for an A grade target.
Pick 8 this year might be too much. But at least it keeps our first round pick for next year available to trade.
So with no idea at...
Most players struggle to come back from a Patella I believe. O’Meara the only exception in recent AFL history I think. And that took him what, 2 plus years post injury?
Have a mate who is former recent AFL player and he says his knee was never the same after his Patella injury.
Just on the Walsh being near the front in running drills. Yes it’s fantastic and we have a ripper.
But....
Isn’t that an indictment on 30-35 AFL listed players at our club already?
I say 30-35 as there are different types of players and also injuries. But still, surely a fair few of our existing...
Surely we don’t just hand over the cash to the AFL?! Surely we just give Simmo and Cripps a large bonus.
Or more logically front load more contracts of players.
I agree totally. Keep in mind however if I am not mistaken clubs have to take a min of 3 picks into draft, which is 18 x 3 = 54.
Then another 20 picks on top isn’t really that much between 18 clubs when rookie upgrades and alike are included. Number taken would always have to be at least in the...
I think everyone needs to be happy our club isn’t a sieve when it comes to info anymore. Surely means a more cohesive culture.
IIRC it was leaked Malthouse was sacked (officially) before he even left the building.
Someone can correct me if I am wrong. But I think if a player goes out of the team injured it uses the salary cap differently (or less). I think that's why heaps of players go out with random injuries (that might be fake-ish)
For Mine.
Rest any young player who is sore. Including Cripps even if he wants to play.
Pickett and SPS to stay in if not sore.
Agree with most suggested changes but I think Sumner was listed as an emergency against GC, so wouldn't be surprised if he came in if that is any indication of the...
