    AFL 2024 - AFL ROUND 1

I honestly don't know why a bookie doesn't run a promo similar to first past the post in racing where by they'll pay you out as a winner with the stats at the siren, regardless whether CD make a post game adjustment.

Yeah level 1 is probably better for visibility, but the basement felt like a home for poker. Where as level 1 has all the heart of playing a satellite in Exhibition Hall.

Roast Has Opening Round been totally botched?

The other factor not mentioned as well is the inequity of the teams playing this week effectively having two byes. Richmond for example will have byes in round 6 and 15.

    AFL Player # 5: Elijah Tsatas - Signs a two-year extension! - 22/2

I see him as a more explosive version of Jackson Macrae but with worse disposal.

    Dob in a Don

We're in a cost of living crisis and the club's solution is to have people publicly shamed for cutting back on discretionary spending.

Yeah I truly don't get it, especially given the current CoL crisis. Surely having a 1/3 option with a $200 - $500 buy in range just makes a lot of sense. Flip side I guess is that it might be one of the only good things that will help regs, even if only for the short term. That rake though is...

This is from 2+2 for one of the Wednesday night tournies - the numbers are relatively massive, especially compared to what the Wednesday nights were like prior to covid. Sunday is what I'm most interested in though. If this is anything to go by then there could be some juicy prize pools.

Yeah only have to hear tradies telling anecdotes about their apprentices being most excited about being able to Sportsbet account when they turn 18 rather than going to the pub/getting their license to understand just how culturally ingrained gambling is becoming from a young age.
