Apologies as I'm sure this has come up before, but I can't find the info: If I want to trade out a DEF, move across a MID/DEF to my Defenders, and trade in a MID, how do I do it? Thanks!
^^ yeah agree with that. should be much smaller salary cap. the 2 trades a week thing is cool in that it gives us something to think about each week and gets people to keep logging in at the end of the season but i've been bored for a few weeks now. every week there's 2 people injured or...
enright being rested was kinda annoying but whatever, gonna happen at some point and he scores the same vs every team anyway. but now stokes late withdrawal? wtf?????? he's too young to need a rest and was gonna go so huge ffs
dwyer was on the bubble the same week as matt jones, so a lot of of us only got one of them in, not both. few people had both in their starting sides. moloney and jjk were also both on the bubble after looking better than expected to start the season, and leuey was back in the brisbane team. was...
oh and rolling lockout sucks. even though i'm one of the people who sits on twitter and glued to the tv friday-sunday sweating DT, and would thus benefit significantly from rolling lockout (particularly since i play in money leagues with people who set and forget), i also play SC casually and...
vice captain should get 1.5 x points, gives us an extra thing to think about each week especially since our trades are often quite obvious now that we get 2 per week and don't have to decide whether or not to use both trades
would offer a little extra subtle way for people to take a few risks...
zac clarke was tempting me too but lyon said sandilands might be back in round 13, so you'd only get 2 more games out of him before he's second fiddle again and back to getting 60s
he will print some $$ and score well for a couple of weeks tho
am i crazy for not wanting to get in staker? i've had cash free all season, playing with league focus so my team is really starting to bloom now, and it's not really the best time for me to downgrade to a guy who i will only put on the park once in round 13. will there be so few downgrade...
if you could go back in time and choose your starting team it wouldn't contain swan, but that doesn't mean picking swan was a "mistake" as the reasons for him scoring slightly lower than would be expected couldn't be predicted at the start of the year (beams still not playing halfway thru the...
im still passing. i'd rather get him in next week for 10k more on the back of a 140 than try and disbelieve my own eyes thus far. everyone assumed cloke would turn it around last year too...
(obviously if you already have him you keep him, it's not like an 80 average from a player everyone...
ellis tonned up vs gold coast last year, while averaging 58. he's v good in those open games vs terrible teams, he runs hard through the middle and always wants the ball. he's obviously fine to get in since he will make 100k even dropping 70s the next couple games but it's pretty funny if people...
i picked o'shea randomly at start of the year b/c i was worried it would be a terrible year for rookies and at least he was playing!
you could almost include matt jones. going to probably be the 2nd best $$$ maker of 2013 (still an outside chance at first) and while he was on all of our radars...
yeah it's weird, been so frugal so far this season and now is my week to double upgrade, i can easily get in any 2 players and no-one is even that enticing! am i sposed to be over the moon about bringing in dustbin martin? am i sposed to pay 550k for nick riewoldt or 575k for scott selwood? even...
If you are league-focused, I think it's a mistake to start both of them. You need one of them to be perma-captain the first however many weeks, but they are both pretty much guaranteed to drop close to 100k at the start of every season so it's the smarter play to pick up the 2nd one cheap. I...
been holding onto 500k++ for a month now, can't seem to get rid of it - too many little fixes here and there. looking forward to a double upgrade next week if vlastuin doesn't turn himself into a must-have tonight
premiums often score worse vs the expansion teams no? it's the second tier guys who really tear it up. having a rookie or midpricer play vs GWS GCS or melb is the best thing ever, but having a swan/gaj/watson/stanton type vs those teams is often not that great.
