SFNL clubs are making certain their clearance applications are noticed. The list will be pretty long by the time clearances close.;)

The salary cap is a waste of time in country footy I can't see how it can be effectively policed. A points system is effective to some degree and is effective in getting clubs to promote the own juniors.

Eagle played all his junior footy at Irymple. He played in a Premiership there in 2006. So he is well and truly going home.

I reckon they would be. When the point system came in existing lists were not counted but at that time all clubs were in the same boat. It would give Ouyen a huge advantage if they began with zero. They would have to have their list valued by the league.

Did the SFNL publish the fixture for 2015? if so I missed it. Its not on the league website as yet or I cant find it. But I did find one on the Red Cliffs site.

I think that Baynes will be with Irymple next season. They should also see the return of Crossa, Kempo and an injury fre e season for Eaton , George and a few other guys.

Surely both parties have a copy of the contract. If the clause isn't in the Wenty contract and it's the the same contract then one party would be deep in it and would have no chance at an appeal and would probably incur another penalty maybe suspension .

I don't think Irymple will have any selection nightmares this week other than risking Eaton. Injuries will keep a few out but they've been out for weeks and are not going to come back this year. Both Imps and Irymple have a lot of local content lets hope it shows out in the end.

I bet that's another grey area that hasn't been covered. Could they remove the two players and replace them with the guys that have been on and off the list this season. I hope not.

The CMFL has their system on the club website but I cant find the no. of points allowed on each game day only the total allocation eg 44 points. I guess RC would be over their total season allocation under the CMFL system when you consider .... coaches are 5 points, intra-league recruits are 7...

I reckon the league would have already looked at all their games since then. It would be odd to strip red cliffs of their points in episodes. But you never know. I reckon a few clubs will be going over the team sheets with a calculator.

Here's an idea. Not enough points to pick up that uncontracted player you need. A local club has one and he's prepared to come to you for a considerable fee. Simple send him out to the Millewa for a couple of games and then get him as a player from a minor league for one point. It would work...
