See if we can kick start this discussion for 2016. After a hiatus of three years the Carnival was up and gong again in 2015. Nothing much really changed with the Fitzroy Stars and Warma playing off again in the Div 1 final. The result made it 3-1 Stars way in the Div 1 final since the train wreck...

Rumba played the last of its 3 warm up games yesterday for the now annual Alf Bamblett Memorial Trophy against Northern FL Div 2 side the Fitzroy Stars. Rumba went in with the best side it could put together on the day as they a had few of the better lads miss due to various reasons. Stars...
Barooga vs Moama
Moama should win in a close one.
Echuca United vs Deniliquin Rams
United were good for three quaters last week against Moama and if they can't beat Deni at home, it's 5 and zip.
Finley vs Tocumwal
Big game for both teams and I'm backing the Finley lads this week to...
A nice way to finish a pretty full on pre season with our first Barooga Night Series Divvy 1 win. Looking forward to Moama at home next week, in what hopefully will be another improving season. Final scores (I Think) were Rumbalara 16.1 to Barooga 12.7
Barooga won by 3 points I think with the last kick off the game. Both sides were playing well short of their best side. Having said that it was a good game to watch, very open and close for most of the night. :)
good first hit out for our boys on the weekend in wagga. great event which is always played in good spirts. rumba cleaned up all the awards without losing a game. braydon williams was best in grand final, jarrod atkinson was the player of the carnival with eric edwards winning the golden boot...
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
yes we are certainly looking forward to the challenge of playing a finals bound gvfl club. and i wouldn't think barooga would take us lightly again. should be good.
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
All those guys including Braydon are training with the Bendigo Bombers with a hope to making it onto their list for 2011. All four have also been doing some extras with us back at Rumba (along with the two Bushies kids)and lets assume they are VFL listed...
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
Standout so far would have to be young Reggie Smith who had a good Carnival and is following that form up by winning both the Time trial and the Beep Test. Djars has been nothing short of fantastic. Others Ash Miller, Jason Atkinson, Nathan Terlich really...
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
Yer started tonight with 30+ on track doing a 3.2km time trial and there was mention of Jarrod heading back Rumba if he doesn't get pick up again.
Re: Murray Football League (Part 5)
What a great night at the GV for the Rumbalara FNC Senior Presentation Ball. The run away winner came as no surprise to many on the night as Braydon Williams took home the B&F trophy for 2010. Big Benny Cox finish second and Rex Taylor doing the League/Club...
When it got moved to Thursday I was out. Only chance I had to play after that was the Bye week and a night of training. Suggest back to Wednesday, 8.30pm start with $3 buy in.
The game style Sam has brought with him suits our young pacy players down to the ground and has so far worked well. Time will tell but held up well enough on the weekend.
The feel around the Club is at an all time high across all grades of football, due manly to the work that the senior group...
Our boys were gone, lucky we had just enough left in us to get another goal before the siren went.
Not sure what was going on in the timekeepers box, seemed like a normal 1/4 of footy to me. No send offs, no fights, no stretcher and there weren't that many stoppages, well no more than a usual...
As predicted a close one it was. Good to be on the right side of it though, how bout that last 1/4 38 minutes long. I THOUGHT THE TIME KEEPERS DUCKED OUT FOR A COFFEE AND FORGOT ABOUT THE GAME> IT WAS EITHER THAT OR THEY COULDNT MAKE UP THEIR MIND WHO THEY WANTED TO WIN THE GAME
We're going OK. As all teams at this time of year, we feel we have put together a good side. The new coach has meant a fresh start for a few and has generated a good atmosphere around the club. We will still be a fairly young side, but with pace and flair to burn. With a game style brought in by...
Barooga VS Cobram
Echuca United VS Moama
Tocumwal VS Congupna
Finley VS Deniliquin
Mulwala VS Numurkah.
Nathalia Vs Tongala
Good luck to all Clubs starting this week, Wish we were playing but someone has to have the Bye first up I guess.
Can I get into a league again this season. Also a bit late but thought I better have a go. Not sure what div I was in, think it was 22. Team name is the same Warma Turtles. Finished with 38519 points
