Review AFL Round 3 autopsy - Geelong defeats Carlton by 16 points

Not sure how Motlop got in our best. Yes, he gets a lot of touches but he wastes the ball a lot of the time he gets it. His run and carry looks great but it is rare that he is does something positive with it. He misses a lot of targets and can't kick goals. He is a frustrating player to watch...

    GDFL Season 2012

4 clubs name them? There are 3, Barwon Heads, Bungaree and Belmont Lions. You should get your facts straight in regards to goes where the money is. The reason he left Bungaree is because he got a new job and is on call and needs to stay in Geelong, not for any other reason. He left Heads to...

    CHFL 2012 preseason

Bungaree get up by 8 points, I think that was the margin in an absolute cracking game. Every contest was a battle in itself with ball up after ball up with both teams applying great pressure. Well done Bunga!

    Health Tough Mudder

I completed it yesterday with a group of mates, was a lot of fun. A big struggle for me as I had been crook and on antibiotics for the last month and spewed 5 times 6-8ks in which resulted in cramps later on but my mates pulled me through. One of my mates had a broken hand and did it, he didn't...

Central Highlands general thread - June 2011

In regards to crowd numbers I believe it is an easy answer. Waubra were in 3 of the main grand finals (18s, reserves & seniors). If it had been a bigger mixture of clubs that made the grand final it would have made a bigger variety of people to attend which would result in a larger crowd...

News Simonds Stadium stage 3 redevelopment - Players Stand, big screen and new lights

Re: Massive news coming out of the Cattery this morning. Stay tuned! I think 40k is perfect for the size of Geelong. I know myself and alot of other people don't really bother to goto Skilled anymore cause it is usually sold out. You also got to look at the population growth in Geelong to...

Central Highlands general thread - June 2011

Like my first comment said, if the weather is good, the ground will be in good condition but if it rains most days during the week, expect a sub par surface.

Central Highlands general thread - June 2011

It doesn't bother me cause no team gets a home final but it was only a couple weeks ago when we played Ballan it was in good condition, the rain stuffs it up...enough said.

Central Highlands general thread - June 2011

Yes the ground is in poor condition at the moment but if this nice weather continues, the ground will come good. When there is a lot of rain it does turn very sloggy which it would've been like on Saturday. It should be up and about for this weekend's final if it does get the nod from the league.

Linton and Smythesdale have to be up there with the worst grounds in the league. Both grounds are like a swamp especially Smythesdale.

Great win by Bungaree to defeat Waubra by 40 points infront of it's 1991 Premiership side. It shows anyone on their day can defeat anyone and looking forward to what should be a cracking finals series.

    Weight training questions

I've recently started doing weights again and doing a footy pre season along with playing A grade basketball 3x a week.
