If we are honest his career is done. Even if he does work up the confidence to play again, one more bump to the head and it’s career over. Given his play style another concussions is almost guaranteed.
Man reading this thread is a pain with all the sooking over Ginni. He left, deal with it. Or go follow the Hawks if you love him so much.
I wish we’d stop blindingly bombing high and long to no one. Kick it hard and low to the advantage of our smalls if you’re not going to hit up a target.
I agree with you and the club should be criticised when appropriate. I’m likely just coping and hoping we miraculously turn it around. After all, no one saw GWS getting so close to a GF last season.
The future objectively looks bleak for the club with how little talent we having coming through...
People were talking about a potential worst case scenario (which I agree with wouldn’t have made the trade worthwhile), but anyone who claims they actually believed we were going to start this badly is lying. The same people who were celebrated for trading our way to a premiership now are hated...
I don’t get the hate towards him. Bloke has been in our better half of players. Problem is the pick 20 something we thought we traded for him might become a top 5, and no one saw that coming.
Positives:
Reef can play and should never be dropped again
Fin looked more hungry than most his peers in the 2min 15secs he played
Billy can actually defend
Looks like our grandpa brigade spent what little gas they had left in the tank on grand final day. Play some kids and get JFN in for...
Was about to say. Clement is essentially Moore with better kicking and 1-on-1 defence. Tremendously underrated player. He was so good they introduced hands in the back to stop him!
I don’t think we can play worse than that which is a positive. AJ has to go out for Reef next round, he is consistently inconsistent when the pressure is on against tough competition. Had me missing Frampton ffs! Let’s see what Reef has to offer sooner rather than later.
If Billy can learn to multi-task as a shutdown forward he’d be handy. His problem on GF day was he was so focused on stopping Andrews he forgot to look at the ball! There’s potential there. Could be a handy weapon if he can shut down the opposition’s primary rebounder and go for the ball when...
Exactly, your last sentence is right on point. Those guys you mentioned were getting paid well and have good job security. Adams doesn’t. Of course he’d take the Swans offer. If anything it makes it more delusion that some of you lot are carrying on like Adams made an irrational decision. You...
Some of you are delusional. You’re telling me if you were offered higher guaranteed pay for a longer period of time AND better job satisfaction at the end of your career - you would turn it down? When the company you worked hard for for almost a decade won’t offer you the same? Get out of here...
People acting like they wouldn’t have made the exact same decision as Adams are kidding themselves. Put it all on the line for the Pies for almost a decade, deserves the massive pre-retirement payday that we weren’t going to give him.
I actually watched their AFLW match, highly recommend. Got dominated out of the gate, came back in the last quarter only to lose the game in the last minute on a rushed shot on goal. 10/10 would watch again.
I remember watching the first AFLW match against Carlton and thinking “we have way too many players that don’t have good skills AND/OR are not good athletes” … Years later it’s still the same.
Mate don’t sweat it. I started using these forums in primary school and it has and always will be the same. 99% just guys and girls shitposting and sharing their passion for the sport and club. Have fun and post whatever you want, whether it’s training reports like Jen or just inconsequential...
