I have no idea what to expect. Last week was so unlike any other game we’ve played this year it’s hard to know what the aberration was.
My worst fear is that we aren’t capable of the first few weeks style without Jackson on ball nearly full time and that’s not sustainable.
I know it was...
It’s also the first game we didn’t have Jackson & Treacy rucking.
Darcy may be a good tap ruck but he doesn’t bring anything like the hustle the J’s do once it’s on the deck.
White trash going to white trash.
I hope for a world where the Trump offspring are reduced to doing celebrity survivor or dancing with the stars to keep their faces in the fading light.
Anyone with any bottle would "manage" Sonny and give Simpson a debut.
Freddy and Switta for Sturt & Emmett.
I'm also on the bandwagon of Brodie to inside, Brayshaw to wing and O'Meara to Peel.
Bring Stanley in and rotate Sharp, Brayshaw and Stanley on the wings.
God I'd love to see that.
I agree with all those plus Switta for Emmett or Sturt. Toss a coin. Both are of limited use. So is Switta for that matter but we know he plays if fit.
I feel like I've woken up in a fresh version on hell.
Is it a coincidence that Darcy comes in, Jackson goes forward and this results?
It was like everything that was good about the team in the first 5 weeks just dissolved.
I feel like we have to throw positions out the window and play people...
Jeez you don't even have to look at Trumps time as President, his criminal history goes way back.
Trump University? Fraudulent charities?
Anyone that doesn't realise the guy is a career shyster just has no grasp of history.
Wow I’ve never been happier to be wrong & so comprehensively. I thought Sturt was no chance based on his game at Peel.
Nothing would make me happier than for him to kick a few & make himself incumbent. I’ve always loved his skills.
I guess the stars aligned for him with the outs. Poor old...
Wonder how Lurch & the Murdochracy will manage to spin this as bad.

It’s interesting you said in your original post that people’s need to belong used to be filled in part by religion yet religion(s) make a practice of excluding people who don’t fit their belief system. As recently as the last federal government we had a prime minister trying to enshrine in law...
Sturt is miles off match fit. Given he seems to need a lot of continuity to start finding the ball regularly I doubt he’ll be even in the discussion at match committee.
I’ve been a big believer but I think he’s done at AFL level. Nice skills, great set shot but just can’t find the ball often...
Ha, nearly mentioned the camper van population. It’s going to get worse as rents continue to disconnect from fundamentals.
What is it you find pathetic about the older hippies?
Certainly my cohort the original Freo musicians are starting to die off. Sadly many too young like Richard Lane, Tim...
All you need to know about Walker’s value is how much his opponent (like Charlie Cameron) scores which is always way below their average. He takes the best dangerous small & beats them.
Not sure how long it’s been since you’ve been here. No one like that can afford to live here anymore. South Fremantle is full of young affluent families now. The hippies have all moved to Coolbellup or Hammy Hill if they’re lucky.
Going to be interesting to see if he's actually AFL standard once he settles. He's a bit of a Brady Grey type. Absolute wrecking ball that hits the contest at speed but his skills are extremely poor at times.
Could be nerves at this stage but time will tell.
You can at least make a case that for the northern academies the players they're taking might not have ended up in the AFL system.
F/S is arguably worse.
In either case teams should have to use their highest picks, that's all it really needs to fix it at least slightly.
When the Dogs get JUH...
There was one bloke who hated him, was just obsessed. I'm trying to remember if it was the same one who relentlessly bagged Stephen Hill week after week. Was it Memories or the other one who still comes here whenever we lose to crap on JL?
Never forget that game Matera played in the GF in 92. I didn't watch much footy at that point and I didn't hate the Eagles, was just mostly indifferent to them but I loved watching some of their players - Kemp was just lovely to watch, the precision of McKenna off half back and even Worsfold was...
Yes I’ve been quietly bull-ish on Stanley for a while. No particular insight just like the attributes he’s shown & the cut of his jibe.
Once we have a proper partner for Sharp, Chapman back, Darcy back & Dogga down forward we’ll start seeing what we’ve really got.
Hopefully Walters is just...
