Hey all.
Looking for a router recommendation. Currently using a Technicolour TG799vac that was delivered by my ISP. I live in a roughly 80sqm apartment. Router lives at one end of the apartment, living room is at the other end of the apartment, roughly 15m. We are finding that sometimes when...
I’m looking to change ISP from telstra and am needing some advice;
- Looking at HarbourISP. Anyone heard good/bad reports?
- other option is MyRepublic gaming plan which comes with a static IP address and apparently has recorded higher download speeds from Steam than any other ISP. Is there an...
So I couldn’t see one of these on here and I figured there must be some keen fisherpeople out there, so let’s have at it.
Have been casually fishing since moving up to Mildura about 5 years ago. I live about 10 mins from the Murray so I have fantastic access to the river. Only been fishing off...
Hi all.
I've been teaching for a couple of years now and I've started to consider going back to study a Masters of Educational Leadership.
Without sounding too arrogant, I've been given some pretty good opportunities at my school so far and I'd like to see myself advancing further up the...
Hi all.
Hoping someone may be able to clarify something for me. I was umpiring a grade cricket game yesterday and came across a situation where I believe I was correct, but others seemed to think I was wrong.
There was a medium pacer bowling and his front foot was landing almost parallel to...
Well, it's certainly snuck up on me, but the Vuelta a Espana kicks off Saturday night. This edition has kept the tradition of the race by including a large number of mountain stages (though not quite as many as usual). We also have three time trials (one a team time trial). The final stage into...
The beginning of the end. Some might say that with the forced withdrawals of Contador and Froome due to crashes, that the Tour has been decided for a long time, making it a rather boring Tour. I'm not one of those people. Yes, for a long time now, we have known that Nibali would win. It has...
Sorry about yesterday's lack of preview, I drove Mildura - Melbourne straight from work and didnt get in until just after 10pm.
Good win by Navardauskas last night, somewhat salvaging Garmin's totally anonymous Tour thus far.

Last night saw Rafal Majka continue his, and Tinkoff's good form with a stage win. To go with that, Majka now has a commanding lead in the KOM category, father Rodeiguez couldn't go with him on the final climb.

Riders will be raring to go after a rest day, though I am sure we will hear at least once tonight that riders often have bad days the day after the rest day.
Stage 16: Carcassonne - Bagneres-de-Luchon

White: Romain Bardet (ALM)

Rafal Majka ha a great ride last night, getting away early in the stage, picking up lots of KOTM points and actually putting time into the peleton on the climb to Risoul, until Nibali decided to attack. Majka won the stage and is now tied with Rodriguez for the polkadot jersey, although...
Last night was a bit of a surprise to most of us I think. Not so much that Nibali won, but the convincing manner in which he did so. He just simply rode away from all of his rivals, chasing down Konig and Majka who jumped at the bottom of the climb. Porte's GC ambitions are over, and questions...
Last night was probably the most uneventful stage of the whole tour. A stock standard sprint stage (with a couple of hills) with only one major crash. David de la Cruz crashed out in a bizarre crash going around a bend where he just lost his wheel. The stage was won by Alex Kristoff, with Peter...
The biggest thing to come out of last night was Andrew Talansky's horrible ride. He lost over 32' and is now obviously well out of GC contention. Tinkoff showed their new plan in going for stage victories, with Nocholas Roche and Michael Rogers having a crack. Great ride by Tony Gallopin to win...
After a rest night, we have been able to breathe and digest why we saw on stage 10. Here is a quick rundown; Contador broke his leg. Plenty of differing account of what actually happened. Climbed a cat 2 climb with a broken leg, overtaking the autobus plus a bunch of other riders.
Voeckler and...

Last night saw a bit of a sorting out of the GC contenders, with Contador attacking with about 2km to go, Nibali sticking with him and the others, led my Porte, brining up the rear. It was a good stage win by Blel Kadri. No doubt the KOTM is now his goal, so expect to see him in the break as...
Last night saw some arguably poor tactical work by Sagan and by Team BMC. Tejay Van Garderen went down about 16km from the finish. A couple of team mates went back to help him, but Daniel Oss pushed the pace at the from of the peleton, trying to help Greg Van Avermaet gain stage honours. You'd...
Last night was very much a run of the mill stage. In the end, it was a bunch sprint won by Greipel, though I think it will be a hollow victory, as his compatriot Marcel Kittel punctured with about 800m to go. Either way, it was a welcome return to form for Greipel.
Current Jersey Leaders...
Well, 24 hours is a big time frame in the world of cycling. We now no longer have the outright Tour favourite riding, Froome having to withdraw from the race after 3 falls in 2 stages. Contador is now 2'37" down on Nibali, who must now be the favourite for the outright victory.
Current Jersey...
Last night went very much as planned; breakaway, caught, sprint, Kittel wins. The interesting thing out of last night's stage was the crash by Chris Froome. He has a hell of a lot of road rash on his left hand side (the same side he fell on during the Dauphine), and he has a banged up hand...
Stage 3 saw a sprint finish, but probably not the sprint we expected. Sure, all of us thought Kittel would win, and win he did, but the rest of the standings were interesting. Andre Greipel has shown he has almost no form in this race, coming in a dismal 23rd. His lead out man, Greg Henderson...
