Had 32/48 last game v Picola - 5 guys from that game should lose a point if they all stay again next year
So should be around the high 20's all things being equal before any of those recruits mentioned above are included
When is the decision made for the new point allocations for 2018, if it hasn't been done already?
Is it 'announced' publicly or are individual clubs told directly what they receive/have for the season?
Wakool... Word on the street is Rowdy Arthur.
Long way to come back from having no teams, will be interesting to see how it all pans out.
Hopefully it comes to fruition!
Just goes to show if you don't turn up to play you will be beaten..
Wouldn't say embarrassing though, thought a more even contest would've eventuated.
Strathy hitting form at the right time of the year, still a couple to come back in too
I'd say it has to do with qualification rules.
I've heard a senior player had played too many seniors games for the year and played in the 2's saturday
From what I can gather the cricket pitch has been removed as well so hopefully they can get a good grass cover in the middle rather than the rock hard red dirt of season past.
Haven't the rooms been updated and now the visiting team uses the old home rooms??? Obviously a requirement set down by the league. So they obviously met that one.
Did I say they were asked to do what rovers did? I said they had backing to get their courts done....so funds were available to...
Not too sure but not every club has access to the required dollars/funding to get their facilities to as you put it 'The Standard the league sets'.
For example, from what I can gather the rovers netball courts were built due to one of their committee members dipping into his pocket to help...
From outside looking in it seems strange they can play all year on the courts, but all of a sudden it has now become unsafe and they cant host the Grand Final.
I would of thought if it is unsafe that they would not have been able to play there during the year....
Put some padding (more padding...
Interesting article from Barooga to come out of The Courier....

Re: Piccola District football league
For those that wanted to know Paul Schoullar has re-signed with Blighty for 2008. Was apparently announced at the weekend.
