I am quite sure that the Western Suburbs would have provided the most cannon fodder, more than Essendon, not sure about working class Collingwood though.
I think what we should give credit to the club for is developing players who we as fans don’t have the vision to see what they can become. Bhuku this year is rated number one in intercepts. His stint in the forward line was possibly part of his development as a defender.
The other player that...
Richmond are a shadow of what they used to be, hesitant, slow to react, inaccurate. If we lose Buss, we need to look hard at their defence who must want out of there.
Exactly diagnosis of an illness, relationship break down, also there is also cultural practices, elders come from far and wide if it’s a respected elder that has died. I don’t know what has happened, but happy to respect that Marra needs some time out.
Definitely, we are financially secure and steadily growing in the membership department. Our facilities are so good, that we ripped down a building that we built 10 years ago, to replace with something better. We pioneered the AFLW along with Melbourne and was the first to win a flag out of...
So let me get this straight, you signed up as a Bulldog BF member this month, and are already spreading rumours and making assumptions on one of our players. Are you sure you have the right team board?
I don’t blame Bevo for being wary of the media. He came on to Footy Classified as a guest, and they absolutely roasted him, it was awful to watch. At one point he turned to Caro and pleaded for her to see his point of view but she went along with the rest of the panel. It was a real set up...
I don’t like Dillon at all, he is no friend to the Bulldogs, we have been treated very badly since he took control. The Good Friday game, this stupid 0 round, giving Melbourne a leg up, playing a home team in Gather round last year, relentlessly making us be one of the Bunnies playing at Pork...
Yes it’s great when that club is going well, but how toxic it gets when they are not. Unfortunately some of our supporters seem to be the worse, I.e. the death threats Josh Bruce got.
The feeling was Dunkley was leaving, and their was a certain coolness from the players towards him. Bont who he had been so close with, was suddenly never seen off field with him anymore. I don’t get that feeling so much with Baz. He certainly shows he is more invested in the Bulldogs than Dunkley.
I think AFL in general is rubbish now really. Love the Bulldogs, but the media are so bitchy, they just sap your love for the game, on top of that the umpiring, so many rules it’s so confusing. Then of course we have the inequality of the fixture, teams that don’t deserve prime time spots, but...
I have not bothered to read through this thread, but I have assumed there was a lot of gnashing of teeth and calls to sack Bevo.
What I will say is that I can stomache losses like this while we develop Bhuku, Sanders, Gallagher, Darcy, JOD and continue to play young forward line of Naughton...
I missed most of last nights game, just saw some of the “highlights” now. Boy do Melbourne look poor, and that new kid ignoring three senior players to have a ping from the 50, well.
If only we didn’t have to play them round 1.
