mate he's played 2 games for us and was pretty decent for a 2nd gamer I thought Give the poor bloke a chance. Comden with his injury record aint coming in until he's had a decent block of games in the VFL and gets through them unscathed

Preview Changes v Carlton [Good Friday Superclash]

Yep agree. But i think Shiels is just injury cover at the moment, don't think he'll get a go for a while. Lazzaro will get another run too IMO so I think Wilphil gets another game in the VFL to get some more confidence after a pretty good run last week we were excellent for a half and Im a glass...

Laura Kane - Does Not Impress Me At All !!

any grown up can see that that's not the case However if you feel that you have to do so to avoid being labelled as such then that's up to you. Personally, I find women are very able to defend themselves

Laura Kane - Does Not Impress Me At All !!

pretty sure it's because a woman got a top job in the AFL There's always a portion of people in society that don't accept that. They'll swear black and blue that that's not the case...but it really is

Opinion NMFC Board Cricket Thread III - Shield Final WA v Tas

I think the problem with Smith is that he's had such great hand eye coordination but with things slowing down as hes got older, there isn't the technique to fall back on

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

yeah but you dont rush to drop people averaging 45 plus in test cricket with someone averaging 35 in first class cricket

ha..most posters are pretty good. get the odd one who lets their passion get a little ahead of their thinking. adds to the fun of it all

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

No he was pretty good for a while when Boult finished. Lost a yard of pace now so not troubling top level batsmen often now

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

who do you replace them with too ? havent heard of too many guys knocking the door down in first class cricket
  21. KiwiRoo

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

Aussies would be slight favourites in my opinion..track's not going to change much.Chasing 250 aint easy, but NZ has 2 bowlers with 4 tests between them..
  22. KiwiRoo

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

yep.Never been a fan of his. Phillips has turned into a really useful offie..bowled well in all tests. Not bad for a keeper !
  23. KiwiRoo

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

reckon. Southee looks like he's on his last legs and cant believe they picked Kuggeleijn..for either testy. Like if you want 6 mediocre overs bowl Mitchell instead Could have picked Santner or even Duffy for these tests and would have got more out of it
  24. KiwiRoo

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

you still have Smith, Labuschange , Khwaja and Head..all of who have great test records.Chasing 250 you only need one of them to get runs
  25. KiwiRoo

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

mate the pitch will be pretty tame when you bat again Hagley Oval has a history of being a good batting track in the 2nd dig
  26. KiwiRoo

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

we don't have anyone that bowls 145k plus and moves it that was some sensational bowling
  27. KiwiRoo

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

absolute minimum. Pitch should flatten out a fair bit from now onwards.

Coach Alastair Clarkson - NMFC Senior Coach - Coaching & Football Discussion

geez $25k for a commonly used phrase that most of the easily offended brigade would have used as some stage and not even thought about what it meant....its a crazy old world.. pretty soon you're going to need a signed consent form from your dog to rub his belly
  29. KiwiRoo

Opinion NMFC Board Cricket Thread III - Shield Final WA v Tas

Southees last 4-5 test have been pretty ordinary and it took a jaffa catch from Phillips to get a wicket this innings..... in bowler friendly conditions been a good bowler for a long time but I think he's pretty much done Plus why the fu&k are we picking Kuggeleijn to bowl 6 average...
