He just knew it was coming, didn't he! Very surprised Jimmy just gave up.
Uriah is one scary individual. And I wasn't surprised the Boss went against the coaches re' the match-ups. Uriah-v-Josh would be the most exciting/sought after final as Dylan is just too "nice". Can't wait for Dylan v...
Ditto. Yes Luke looked dangerous on his back but Dylan controlled the whole fight and took him down so many times. Judging can be ridiculously inconsistent...
I, like many, have been so impressed with Dylan. You really can see how much he wants it every time he steps into the cage. Luke was my...
m0nty, you are assuming either one or both of Redden or Big O will play with those donuts.
And even bigger trouble if Cox or Giles get rested which will be the case at some stage.
Alot of people are in the same boat and I'm getting shafted this week with Kreuz. Hence why I and others are now...
Very much tempted by Ryan O'Keefe. Racked it up today & is just too cheap at $377k to ignore. Sydney are just so solid & we all know what he's capable of.
Have the cash to trade Devon to him.
Great to see this thread still going guys, sorry I can't contribute much anymore - running your own business doesn't leave much time for DT I'm afraid.
As they were part of the first 2 years of this thread, I'm sure you wont mind me including a link to the DT TALK's teams at DreamTeamCheat.com...
I've got the Cox V Murphy dilemma. Murphy is slighty in the lead at this stage base on:
I've been burnt by ruckmen before
The NicNat factor with Cox
If WCE are 70/80/90+ points up, Cox may be rested on bench or just not give a fook
Murphy is in a ridiculously hot patch and his 290 last week...
I'm surprised there's very little talk of trading him out tbh.
Especially for those with ZSmith and the Petrie link.
It's a lot of money to have on your bench for what sounds like at least a month.
Using the cash in the meantime could gain you a lot of points overall/wins on your ladder.
I've...

Yeah, I've got very little time for DT at the moment, hence the Thursday/Friday posts. I'll try do the full report earlier in the week (trades and table) but if not, yep, help appreciated.

Re: Famous DT Coaches Thread 2011
It is on topic, Lemming is an FC & they were discussing his starting squad etc...
I agree with what you said LemmingM, one player can certainly have a dramatic effect on your season & it can be nigh on impossible to recover. I had that issue with...
Very much considering Krakouer > Jack Roo.
Krac could be a sub again and won't rise too much anyway.
Jack has a high BE of 115 but can see him kicking a bag v North.
I'll be playing Prestia, Dixon and Richardson due to byes this week so need somehow strenghten my forward line.

Exactly, he was standing - speckys are one of the best & unique things about AFL. If they somehow reduce the chances of them happening ( via some "softening" rule change) it will be a sad day for footy...
Anyway, back to DT...
Re: Famous DT Coaches Thread 2011
Seriously good info BiteGumsux, I considered Dawes for about 5 seconds but all those reasons you cited slapped me like a fish across the face.
Will be interesting to see if any FCs opened the Dawes ;)
Re: Famous DT Coaches Thread 2011
This is why you're in mate - you generate discussion & are probably the most active DTer in the Social Media with your podcasts, posts & tweets.
Coad to Suckling & Foley to Curnow/Bewick are interesting indeed.
Could potentially make or break your...
Re: Famous DT Coaches Thread 2011
Nothing happened.
I didn't post the trades the FCs made (if any were indeed made) & trade analysis is what drives the discussion on a weekly basis.
It'll pick up from next Monday when I post their trades.
Gambit & Mr.You-Know-Who-You-Are: it's not...
When playing golf & having to check the stats at every tee box.
Then asking your partner, who was already getting pissed off with your slow play, to borrow his phone because FanFooty had chewed away your battery.
Most teams seem to have Swan & Boyd.
For those that do, the potential gain from Boyd smashing GC & scoring a huge number doesn't warrant the risk involved in taking the big C of Swan.
Remember, you only lose the difference so if Boyd does score 120 and Swan "only" 110, the difference is 10...

FAMOUS DT COACHES - Round 2 Report
TRADES:
Due to a mess-up with the code, I don't have the full teams for Round 1. I'll assume there were no trades made as no one had J.Brown and it's against the "Golden Rules". If anyone did make a trade, would appreciate...
