I think he's there for training standards rather than necessarily to play. From the sounds of things Essendon has a very lax culture similar to us before Judd came.

And that's why access to things like submitting releases/patches are gated behind automation and the Devs don't have access to do it manually. The process that protects from the mistake is tightly guarded credentials
If this is what happened then it's likely a process issue not a person issue. When a mistake is that high risk then people shouldn't be able to make it. There should be safeguards in place to limit the ability to make the mistake or the blast radius when you make it.
I said it isn't as bad as I expected based off people in this thread.
I was expecting ashes cricket 13 bad. And it's better than that. I don't think the issues are insurmountable for the developers If they get the resources to fix them.
In career mode I noticed he's rated like 30. so maybe his goalkicking is set to 0?
The ratings of a few players in career mode were way off. I'm sure that'll be fixed in an upcoming patch..
The game actually isn't as bad as i was expecting based off a lot of the posts today (playing on PC so...
The vic police press release says that "A Glenroy man was interviewed in relation to the offence of engaging in conduct that corrupts or would corrupt a betting outcome." then the other 3 were interviewed in relation with using that information. So we know it's a 32 year man from Glenroy.
I agree. but there is a different standard to what is acceptable when it's unwanted advice following them VS when they look for it. ie DM'ing or speaking to the player in the street. VS the player going out and searching for information on the forums.
If i say Michael Gibbons is VFL standard...
Slow. I've heard he's improved on it a bit in the last couple of years. but my understanding is he's still quite slow and struggles on the spread from contest. Not sure we're a good fit for him.
That's a dumb argument. I wouldn't say it to his face as that's incredibly rude to just walk up to someone and tell them you thought their last 3 years of work was pretty bad..
I also wouldn't post it on his instagram.
Discussing it on an internet forum is completely different though. We're...
problem was how memorable those games were.
Collingwood and Bulldogs games were both amazing, crazy to think he has the ability to do that but then the other games he plays be so ordinary.
Incorrect. a vaccine is anything that stimulates antibodies and immune system response. many of our vaccines don't give full immunity (ie aren't sterilizing vaccines). the flu vaccine is a vaccine even if it doesn't give you 100% immunity. there are actually very few vaccines that give full 100%...
I think you'll find that this isn't just some vaccine that was thought up overnight. There was money being pumped in that allowed it to happen faster
The mRNA vaccines have been worked on in some capacity for the last 20-30 years,
Most of the speed with the vaccine has been around getting...
It's not necessarily teaching it. It's about nurturing it. If you're saying no other person can nurture those traits to help them grow are you then saying everyone has some innate level of drive, desire, intent that they're born with and nothing that happens in life will change that?
I'll give...
But unfortunately (anecdotally) there seems to be a big group of close to retirement nurses that this has just pushed them over the edge and they've retired earlier than they may have otherwise. Hopefully what I've seen anecdotally isn't actually supported by data because it's not a good sign...
Probably not giving enough credit to the nurses and doctors currently in the system that aren't ICU trained, there was some work in VIC done at the start of the pandemic for getting other specialization nurses into extra training to be ready. not sure how that went as my wife has been on...
I can't disagree with you more.
Drive, Desire, Intent you may not be able to teach in the "traditional" way of showing someone how to do it and telling them to practice it. but you definitely can create the conditions that encourage Drive & Desire. The best managers are the ones who learn how...
It's not 1978 anymore. Sign contracts digitally all the time. Don't know that I've signed an employment contract in person in the last 10 years.
In saying that I'd be surprised if he's come without being in the very late stages of the process. Could Possibly be a move to show how serious he is...
Getting to halls creek though isn't just about distance.
Flying to halls creek from Victoria probably requires you to fly to Perth. and then through a few smaller regional airports in WA. whereas if you're in Perth you're already half way there.
If you don't have a contract on the table it's treated as different than if you refuse to sign a contract.
Brander will automatically become a free agent. SPS will have to go to the draft as we've offered him a contract (assuming our contract we offered him wasn't a bullshit minimum wage...
People complaining about Voss and Bradshaw are probably the same people wanting us to limp Murphy to 300 games. We wish we had someone who has the balls to make those hard decisions that the players aren't just getting carried to milestones.

If you're writing Voss off based off of some stuff he did in his stint as coach 8 years ago. Think back to yourself 8 years ago. and think about whether you've changed and maybe fixed/changed some of the flaws you had professionally 8 years ago.
What's with this idea that because Voss was passed on for other roles he's a worse candidate?
Just because someone didn't get hired by someone else on its own is not a reason not to hire them. This kind of thinking is why everyone in afl land feels like they need to pull out of job race instead...
When you look at the odds remember that about 2 weeks before Craig McRae became coach of Collingwood he was >$10 odds to get the job.
The odds in this type of a market are purely based off of where the money is coming in. When you all get sucked into betting on Clarko. the odds for him will go...
