Randomly browsing the thread but man Always Sunny is dope, favourite TV since becoming an adult. Its very different and not for everyone. A few favourite episodes The Gang desperately tried to win an award: The TV show in real life has never won awards, so in the TV universe they try to...

    Other Lawn bowls

I got back into bowls That was 2011 me talking. 12 years on gave it a go this year coming back and have loved every minute. Only downside is I am at a small club with only a Div 3 as the top side (Perth has Premier (10 teams) One White (10) One Blue (20 teams) 2nd div (40 teams) above us and...

Sorry to hear about the injuries biggie. Question for the thread. I want to buy Mum a new TV and set her up with a few different streaming service (namely Kayo and Binge as she already is used to an old school foxtel box). She isn't the super sharpest when it comes to organising new...

Competition Big Footy AFL Fantasy KNOCKOUT

Hi mate. I used to run a version of this for my friends as part of my tipping pools (did the same thing with pick a team to win each week only pick once, and also for picking a player to kick two snags each week). For DT purposes, the score to hit was 100 points. The usual survival rate was...

    Big Cricket Thread

I think the ICC would do well to include a "must play a certain % of world 50 over cricket to be eligible for the CWC. Include provisions for injuries, exclude people of they would rather play for the Saudi Arabain Blades instead of ODIs.

Fraser McGurk might be my biggest "he will never make it, what a terrible player" to eventually become a big thing since Marnus Labuschagne". Anything he hits, stays hit.

News & Events General Tennis News

Hi all. I'm taking a holiday to Brisbane and Gold Coast from 30th Dec-15th Jan. Rafa must of known I was coming since he now also wants to play in Brisbane over those times. Anyone have any idea as to which day they would schedule his Round 1 match? Logically it could be either NYD evening...

    Jumper clash fails

Eddie has said similar for years and still yet to follow through. He (and we all) probably want it, but don't want to deal with the "Pies surrendered to Carlton/Essendon" view of wearing white shorts is an abomination.

    Crown Melbourne Part 4

When straddles were first bought in Crown Perth (previously illegal but maybe 2% of hands were "blind raised" the dealers were explicitly told and waited to have a straddle verbally confirmed as on or off. I personally hate them. Games getting bigger than expected make them far less fun. The...

Crown Perth has similar rules (I haven't played there since covid started). But yes absolutely great news to the home games and pub poker operators in Perth and Melbourne (over here pub operators can run cash games, but 6hr permit limits. The work around is two licenced venues close to each...

    Jumper clash fails

If royal blue doesn't clash then we would wear a royal blue top. It does so we don't. Geelong (navy blue against red) and Sydney (red vs navy blue) are fairly obvious.

    Workshop Cricket Kit Designs/Discussion

The problem is that cricket kits are mostly monotone colour schemes, there are rarely powerful 2 or 3 colour patterns/designs that you seen in NFL, AFL etc... any secondary colour is just for trim and logos/numbers etc. Except for some random T20 leagues where the colour schemes are instead...
